This hotel is good value for money with the most helpful and friendly staff and an excellent location. Yes, it is noisy, as pointed out by other reviewers however effective double glazing on our balcony door did its best to keep this to a minimum. Nearby Placa Reial is great for a sangria late in the day. The breakfast of...

Very central, close to beautiful Placa Reial and Rambla. Helpful staff and a nice and clean room with aircon. Breakfast is typical southern Europe so don't expect too much. The bed was nice and there was extra blankets - not only a sheet, which is too cold if you sleep with aircon on. Close to metro stations Drassanes and Liceu,...

I would definitely recommend this hotel to other city trip travelers. This hotel has an excelent position in the centre of Barcelona and only one street away from the busy shopping street Ramblas. The service was excellent and the crew very friendly and helpfull. The room we had was located next to a busy street but with the doors closed...

I would recommend hotel but I would not recommend rooms along the street (Carrer dels Escudellers) - the noise is huge inside the room (we were on 4th floor! 423) that we couldn't almost sleep first night. There was no problem to relocate to another room when we asked service. Service very kind and helpful. We get another room (427)...

Great location and value for money! Modern/updated rooms. Clean. Breakfast was not the greatest, but for the amazing price I could go buy my own breakfast. Do not ask them to call their preferred cab company-it was a horrible experience. Walk to La Ramblas and get your own taxi. Most staff was amazingly helpful except for the fellow who seemed...

We picked this based on location, price and services offered - and it fulfilled all three criteria. We booked a room with double bed. On arrival we found they'd put us in a twin room - we pointed this out to the receptionist who checked everything for us and organised a room change promptly (can't remember if we had to...

We just used the hotel to sleep and to eat. Reception was very helpful with us, and rooms where cleaned everyday. Our main disappointment was the breakfast as we did not have any selection apart from cereal and bread.

When my group read the reviews on this hotel we were a little bit concerned what to expect, but the hotel is really good! The room has TV, confortable beds and it is quiet. The stay included a really nice breakfeast that included coffee, milk, juice, bread, jams and yogurt. Located next to The Ramblas, it was really easy to...

We were not expecting much from this hotel and even our travel agent was hesitant about us staying somewhere with so few stars (rating), however we were happy to 'rough it' before our luxury cruise which departed from Barcelona. Boy were we in for a shock. The hotel was much better than we were expecting and we actually really enjoyed...

I've been with my mother. We've got a perfect 3 persons bedroom on the 4th floor with elevator. Beautiful renovated, luxurious bathroom, fine matrasses. Our favorite receptionist Frederique was very friendly with fine tips were to eat and NOT to go.. We had such a good time in the heart of Barcelona. Don't forget youre earplugs however, because youre sleeping...
