Hotel is quite hidden, if I was not staying here I wouldn't notice it here maybe. However to get inside you need to ring a bell or uae your card which is good security idea. Room was nice, clean, but basic. Beds were very simple, not staying at same position. Best point is top floor pool with picturesque view on...

The hotel is super modern... clean and comfortable. The breakfast is great but $12 per person... loved it but for the same price the three of us ate breakfast at a cafe 1 block away. The staff is friendly and very willing to assist with directions and recommendations. It's within walking distance from several touristic areas. Wifi... needs to be...

We stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel was in a perfect spot for all the main transport links and attractions. We took the airport bus to Placa Espanya then the metro, paralel and Dressanes are only a few mins walk from the hotel. Only a few mins walk to La Ramblas or just a little further into the...

This was a lovely room in an eco-friendly hotel near the base of Las Ramblas, down the street from the wonderful Maritime Museum, and near the harbor as well. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom very modern and well-designed, and the rooftop deck absolutely amazing. Very reasonably priced for the quality and location.

We booked 4 nights at the Andante Hotel and we had a wunderfull time. A very nice, quiet and clean room at the upper level, with overlooking the Harbor (a piece of it). We enjoyed our Breakfest every morning. The Staff were always friendly and courteous. We had a 5 min. walk to the La Rambla with lots of Restaurants...

We travelled to Barcelona for 3 nights in November and had a great stay. Andante hotel we found on trip advisor at a reasonable ish price and good location. The Hotel was smart, clean and quite minimalistic. They have a big eco friendly vibe advising you to save water, electricity and recycle. The rooms were clean and bright, good sized...

My friend and I stayed here after our cruise. The location was great, quiet street and only a 5 min walk to La Rambla, metro, and pier. We walked everywhere day and night and never felt unsafe. You have to use your key card to enter the hotel and elevator. The room was small but had everything we needed and...

Good location. Clean, modern room. Short walk to dining and shopping. Safe, busy area. Staff was friendly and helpful. They do have secure lockers to store luggage for early arrival or late departure. Would stay here again.

Location is excellent - in proximity to local amenities, Metro stops and a good mix of local shops and cafes. Not the prettiest area of Barcelona, but if you are happy to be slightly off the beaten track of Barcelona's mad, busy tourist trap but close enough not feel out of touch then Andante is considered choice. Hotel is clean...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
