I stayed in the Lullaby Gardens Hostel for a few nights and had a lovely time there. it's great value for money (quite central, clean, plenty of coffee, toast and jam etc in the morning), and whats even more important is that the awesome staff are working hard to create a super welcoming atmosphere that will allow people to really...

There are a couple of Lullaby hostels in Barcelona. I stayed at the Garden one that is 1 block from Casa Mila. The best thing about this place is the location. Otherwise, it isn't bad - its just not that great. Starting with the positives: Location as already mentioned was good. I liked being away from the "busy" part of...

Brilliant recommendations from staff regarding cheap places to eat and visit. Rooms are not locked but there are lockers provided. Breakfast was included and was excellent. Great kitchen facilities and there are really pleasant indoor/outdoor communal areas. Bathrooms...

With the exception of some wifi connectivity problems, everything at Lullaby Hostel was great! The staff was nice, the bathrooms were kept clean, and the common area was very spacious. Although there is a kitchen, there is no oven, so keep that in mind!

The staff is absolutely phenomenal!! Though the hardware in the hostel leaves quite a bit to be desired. The room I stayed in the main building was quite comfortable but the one in the side building was loud and cold at night.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
