We knew we were selected a more budget friendly hotel, but it ended up being more "budget" than we expected. For starters, we booked the Brustar Gothic, and they put us in the Brustar Centric down the street, which had poorer online ratings - although we were told they were essentially the same thing. It was more like a hostel...

Not to be confused with Barri Gotic (map apps seem to always want to direct you there), this hotel is near the Arc de Triomf and its Metro station. Pretty handy, but it is only a 15 minute walk from Catalunya Metro station in downtown Barcelona. As you can tell, the location of this hotel is the main draw. Barcelona...

Lovely staff, but you can't upgrade a bathroom and paint a bedroom and make it a 3 star hotel. Give them their due, the sign outside their door says TWO star.... so how LateRooms have it as a 3, is anybody's guess. If you get a good rate, and don't mind very small rooms, with no wardrobe or drawers and...

can't complain about this hotel. not really a hotel though in my opinion. more like a bnb without the breakfast. no body at reception. but u can telephone him if there is any problems, which there wasn't. room lovely. clean. worth the money. great location. beside metro and walking distance to central area.

The welcoming was nice; the staff was friendly. But a quality of the rooms was far away from our expectation based on the presentation available on the web! We were told that they have some really nice rooms but our (especially the one in Centric) was not nice at all, horrible noisy. The trick is that on the web all...

A great place to stay in for young couples or people wanting to get out and explore the city. My girlfriend and I came back for sleep and rest only. Nothing special but great considering the cost. Make sure you keep the room clean as they were slightly slow with making our bed etc. Other than that it's a great...

Great location, right near the Metro of Arc de Triomf, within walking distance to Rambla (10 minutes) or 2 metro stops, very clean and functional, but the room was really small and with our 2 big suitcases and 2 little ones there was very little room to move. They were really nice at the reception, but were only there from...

The blokes who own this place are so lovely and the rooms were clean and comfortable if a bit basic with no view at all the lobby of the building it's in is a bit dank but the hotel itself is ok . Our room was air conditioned and it is central.

This review is a little late but I wanted to write one because it was a wonderful expererience. To start off...I was late checking in because of a flight delay but Gerardo was there and waited for me. I believe I got there very close to midnight. This is a hostel with hotel touches. Every room has it's own private...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
