We stayed here in early January. The hotel is in a great location with many of the city’s attractions within walking distance. The room was very comfortable and and was a decent size for three adults. Breakfast is of a good standard with plenty of choice with fresh food brought out frequently. The staff were very friendly and polite. I would recommend this hotel very highly to others.
We are currently staying at the hotel and we’re on our 2nd night! We are so impressed! The beds are super comfy and we can’t fault the cleanliness! When we arrived; there was a bottle of water and some apples; with the water being replaced when the room is cleaned (which seems to be daily). It’s in a great location, very accessible to all areas! The staff are very helpful and happy to help whenever. The shower is really great, perfect temperature & pressure and very clean. Room comes with an easy-to-use safe and a mini fridge which is great for storing drinks. The one negative thing I would comment on is the thin, not sound-proofed walls, so maybe bring some ear plugs, but hasn’t impacted our stay whatsoever. Would 100% recommend for a couple not wanting to pay loads for a hotel and wanting to visit Barcelona.…
Do yourself a favour. Do not stay there.we had a small room without a window. Out of 6 days twice they didn`t clean. When we had got the room there were only face towels( small ones). The walls are thin, therefor you can hear everything.
Hotel is in a good location within the centre of Barcelona, easy access to Las Ramblas and not far from the beach. We stayed in a comfort room on the second floor, room was a good size for two people. Good water pressure in the shower, his and hers sinks, towels and bottle of water changed every day. Reception staff were welcoming and friendly and happily took a broken suitcase off our hands. Rooftop bar was open and we enjoyed a drink there in the evening. Only negative is that we could hear the toilet flush and shower of next door/floor above us and little bit of noise from the corridors. Second time we have stayed at the hotel and will definitely be returning!
Very Disappointed! Currently staying at the hotel. Our room is uncomfortably, and ridiculously small. We can barely get in and out of bed without climbing over the bed. When we asked to move to a different room we were told we had to pay more. I don’t think it’s too much to ask to be able to get in and out bed without climbing over the bed. I believe we should be able to expect at least that for the price we paid. This room would be small for one person, but for two, it’s absurd and quite frankly a rip off!! The sound proofing in our room is non existent, so you hear everything all night long, so not much chance to get a good night sleep here. The bathroom is minuscule too and you can barely move in the shower without knocking into the glass. The room is an interior room so when you look out of the window all you see are walls and an air shaft. I booked this room and my sister-in-law booked a room on a lower floor. Her room is at least a decent size, but I was shocked and embarrassed by the state of the room. It is in desperate need of a paint job and the walls looks ok horrendous and need to be re-plastered and re-painted. I’m really embarrassed that we told her to book here. The description and photos of the hotel on the internet are very deceiving, and not accurate. There are much better hotels in Barcelona at this price point. My advice to anyone thinking of staying here is DON’T!!!!!! Beyond disappointed, embarrassed and feeling ripped off!…
Spacious room with comfortable beds. Very nice and warm welcome from the reception team. We only stayed for one night but would definitely stay again in the future. The pool is very small but I think it’s pretty common in Barcelona, specially when staying central, also beach is very near.
Stayed here with my 21 year old daughter.Great location with lots of hidden bars ,cafés, shops and restaurants so you don’t have to pay the earth for what you need. Las Ramblas is very close and only a short walk to the Gothic quarter. It’s very central for a base. Great for accessing the metro and a short walk to place de Catalunya and Renfe trains and buses. Great base for travelling around Barcelona and Spain. Hotel is very clean. Our room was budget and only had a window into an atrium which was a little oppressive. But saying that made the room nice and quiet so good for sleeping. Our bathroom was a little tired, a few broken ties, but nothing that would cause an issue -just needs some TLC The roof terrace was really good with a pool -but this more of a plunge pool and not big enough to swim in. Excellent for cooling down in. The roof area tends to get busy late afternoon as people come back from exploring Barcelona. Also doesn’t have sun parasols so little shade, ok for sun worshipers though. Not enough loungers when it gets busy. Rooftop bar opens about 3pm but local shops are quite cheap to get drinks and snacks. Vending machine was available in reception but was expensive for what it was. Not suitable for children because of pool and more suitable for adult travellers which seemed to be the type of guests when we stayed.…
Checked in after seeing police dealing with criminal activity in alleyway next to hotel and also warned by hotel staff of burglary concerns. We were given a 1st floor room on an alley way with no safety precautions such as bars on the window. Asked to be switched to higher floor - and there were at least a dozen rooms available according to online sites. Staff refused. Treated us with hostility. They kept our prepaid deposit but we left because we felt unsafe. Not sure why they refused different room when plenty available. Don't stay here. We were not treated as guests but as unwanted visitors.
Very deceiving photos, very disapointing, highly priced in relation to what you get. Really small room, not very meticulous cleaning, no view, super small shower, weird layout, overall old looking. Weird location in sketchy street althought close to transports and Las Ramblas. Nice staff.
Stayed here with my children aged 16 and 14 for 4 nights at the end of July. Hotel is ideally placed jusy minutes walk to the rambles and has a supermarket straight over the road. We had breakfast included and was a good variety which changed daily. Only down side is walls are thin so can hear people returning later in the evening. Staff were so helpful providing us with maps and circling transport links to get around barcelona. The pool area was always tidy and drinks were well priced. Will 100% return here if I come back to Barcelona in the future. As was daughters birthday when away asked if was possible to have some balloons present...as you can see from photos they didn't disappoint 🙈.
