This hostal is located in my favourite part of town; Born. It’s surrounded by nice bars, restaurants and shops. It’s close to the beaches.
The hostal is very clean and the rooms are cleaned everyday. The beds were very comfortable! Sevice was friendly.
Being located across the street from a train terminal from where a line runs down south along the seashore this hostel offers easy access to sleepy coastal villages with uncrowded beaches and quiet restaurants. It is also close to the eateries along the tourist mile...More
My partner and I were here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The rooms look newly decorated, were clean and are very unique. The bathroom was a good size and came with a hairdryer. We also had a small balcony which was nice.
The location was great, right in front of Estacio Franca train station, but also within walking distance of a lot of the major attractions (for example, Sagrada Familia is a nice, leisurely 30 min walk from the hotel). We took the train from the airport...More

The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants
ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.

A shared bathrooms means precisely that - one toilet for several rooms with an entry from the common hall. If it is occupied when you need it, well, tough luck. In true life it's not really a drama - you come back to the hostal only to sleep, and besides you should have a sink and a shower in your room. I spent there three nights and never experienced a conflct of interests. It looked also quite clean, but you can't really see the germs, can you?

There is a shuttle from terminal 1 to terminal 2 at El Prat. From terminal 2, follow the signs to the metro station. Take the Metro R2 North to Passeig de Gracia. When you get off at Passeig de Gracia, stay in the same platform where you got off and wait for the R2 South train. The R2 South train’s last stop is Estacio Franca. The hotel is literally just across the street.
