I chose this hotel following excellent reviews, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. Brilliant location only a few metres from La Rambla and close to two metro lines, it was a wonderful base to explore this city. I paid extra for premium room with terrace and I liked this. It would be great in summer particularly. Very...

Right in the center of the action, La Ramblas right out side the door. Staff very friendly, some incompetent, we had a 3rd hallway door for adjoining rooms and some staff were clueless about coding that door key. Breakfast was very nice and complementary with our rooms. Decore as the name suggests is Gaudi style. We had a very pleasant...

This hotel located off of the bustling Las Ramblas is well priced, pleasant rooms, comfortable beds, quiet (we were in the back on the 2nd floor - Room 229), friendly staff. No complaints. Breakfast included was simple and the same every day. The rooftop terrace was a plus to watch the fireworks on New Years Eve. I wouldn't hesitate to...

Clean rooms in a great location. Desk staff were good. Price was good (Booking.com). Has a rooftop area where one can sit and have a drink. Internet didn't give me any problems. Will stay there again.

A hotel with prices that will not break the bank, and centrally located too. Staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. An easy to find hotel and located not far from almost everything. In fact, it's directly opposite one of Gaudi finest buildings, Palau Guell. It's the hub for any visit to Barcelona. My friend and I enjoyed our stay...

I had a very good stay at Hotel Gaudi. The concierge staff were very welcoming and helpful, taking care of my bags as I had arrived too early to check in. Room was very comfortable and the rooftop terrace was great. Good breakfast too and you can't fault the location!

I stayed here with a group of friends and really enjoyed it. The hotel staff were very friendly and even though we arrived early they let us leave our luggage locked away. An excellent hotel, central, friendly and helpful staff, particularly in the small bar. Roma are fine, good sized beds and our room had an excellent patio area with seat, settee and 2 loungers! Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
