Down a quiet street just off Las Ramblas, the hotel is ideally located for countless restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is quiet. Rooms are somewhat smaller than a modern hotel but are more than adequate. Some of the rooms on the 4th floor have private large terraces - try and specify one of these if you can. Staff are...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

I was a little hesitant when I booked this hotel on a website, but because it was right in front of Palais Guell, I just booked it because of its location. Do not be fooled with the simple structure and "Gaudi-esque" like reception. The hotels location and rooms more than make up for the conveniences of a chain hotel. I...

Rented a quad for our family of 4 for 2 nights at conclusion of our cruise in May 2017. Room view was not so great (we were on first floor) but it served our needs. It was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was wonderful with panoramic views of the city. You could see the ocean and all major sites. Great...

This hotel is ideally located just off Las Ramblas. Our room was small but comparable in size to many big city hotels (eg NYC). My biggest issue was the lack of a window, but on the positive side the bathroom was modern and a good size. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hotel itself was clean and...

We stayed here three nights and found the staff to be exceptionally helpful, the rooms were very clean and the breakfast wonderful. Our travel agent reserved this spot. We were close to La Rambla(please be careful on this street!), easy walking distance to the Gotic quarter, the market and shops, galore. The roof top deck is a delightful place to...

This hotel is 50 yards to the heart of las ramblas. It's a 5 minute walk from both metro stations. There's a grocery store for cheap beer and wine and 10 restaurants on the street. We had a first floor room that faced the street. Pretty quiet, although Saturday night was louder than we would've liked. The rooftop terrace is...

Although our room was small, it was clean and was all we needed. The hotel is a great location with shops and cafe's everywhere. There is a very nice, fun, rooftop bar where we went every evening for a cocktail. The views were amazing! A full breakfast was included in their dining room. The staff was very helpful and friendly....

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
