This is a good clean basic hotel situated centrally just off the ramlas. Room was clean and continental breakfast was good. Staff pleasant as there was no shower curtain in our room and they got one fitted straight away. Would definitely stay if visiting in the future.

The best thing about this hotel is the location- just off La Rambla and 1 minute from Liceu metro station so well connected. The room itself was fine- double bed and big bathroom, and quiet at night. Small gripes are that the window was sealed shut so it would have been nice to be able to let some fresh air...

This hotel is architecturally fabulous and the location is perfect. The ravel area is quite bohemian with interesting little bars and restaurants, however the only thing that let it down was the arrogance and lack of customer service by the men that worked on reception which is such a shame as it was the second time I have stayed but...

Recently stayed at hotel. It's in great location just tucked in behind La Rambla, a couple of mins from nearest metro station (Liceu). Although so close La Rambla it was fairly quiet. Room we were in was very pleasant and clean. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate, would stay here again

Good basic hotel. Breakfast adequate but lacking fresh fruit and tomatoes otherwise enough choice. We bought our own from the nearby market. Rooms good but feel that tea and coffee making facility would improve this greatly. Bed very comfortable. Near to metro stop and theatre where we went to a concert. Short walk to Las Ramblas. Overall great value hotel...

Not sure how I ended up here, it's quite a bit more than I usually spend for my weekends away, however I was still impressed with the price considering it's location. I think we must have been in a recently refurbished room, I was very impressed with the modern look they had gone for. A great shower and I liked...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
