I really should have read all the reviews on here as I would not have booked this hotel. It is truly noisy. If your a light sleeper or value your sleep at all, please do yourself a favor and do not stay here. We stayed in room 311. I'm not certain if it's just that the acoustics just carry sound...

We were moved from this hotel as "no water" in the room in Hotel Suizo that we had booked and paid for weeks in advance and no notification was sent to advise this would be the case despite having contact details. Stayed mid week in room 403 on the corner, room was adequate not much room to move with 3...

The room smelled like cigarettes and I have sinusitis . I could not stay in the room. My girlfriend and I talked to the reception but they sent us to a double bed room, different to what we booked. When we complained , they were rude and did not offer any options. I do not recommend this hotel.

The Gan Hotel Barcino is a mid-priced hotel, housed in a very well kept building; it offers a romantic environment, and the quality of rooms and services are in the moderate to good range. The most important it is very well located in heart of Barcelona; you may walk almost everywhere. If you budget allows a modest elegant hotel, this...

Rarely am I prompted to write a review so quickly after checking in to a hotel only hours ago, but if it weren't for the cool location, I'd give the Gran Hotel Barcino one to zero stars. Aside from the friendly staff, the hotel is far from grand in either size or amenities. However, judging by the incessant construction noise,...
