Crack in basin, shower screen strip missing, no city view,no tea coffee facility in room and furniture in room shabby and damaged. €100 per night-very poor value for money. Friends at B hotel 30 yards away paid less and the quality of rooms and facilities was far superior. Would not recommend onyx Fira to anyone.

We stayed before and after the Grand Prix. Good location, convenient parking - once we found it. Clean, bright , modern decor in the rooms we stayed in. Lovely view of the local dog park. Not too noisy. Second stay we were given a free upgrade and slept like babies. Thank you to the staff for their service. Would definately... More

Stayed here on biz for about a week. Walls are very thin as could hear EVERYTHING and I mean everything. I did appreciate the water pressure. They were doing construction...it was so loud and started early. It seems like the job was major...closing for a week to get it done would have been the courteous thing to do. There was... More

I had to extend my stay in Barcelona unexpectedly for 3 nights. The hotel i was staying in for almost a week was towards the expensive side so i decided to move to Onix Fira hotel. I would say it was the best value for money i had in my travels, staff friendly and rooms clear and spacious... A bit... More

A basic 3 star hotel, clean and good, service a bit slow, but we were not in any hurry, so that was fine. We did request a dbl bed, but got twin, but again, not too fussed about it. The room was clean and comfortable. We did not try breakfast, but it did look good. My main problem is the... More

In Barcelona for work from 25th to 28th April and had booked the Onix Fira for £376 for 3 nights, breakfast was extra at €7. Chosen due to its location on a central road so that I could access both the main town and the trade show location of Fira Gran Via (sadly there was a metro strike but taxis... More

This hotel is comfortable but basic, however it is ideally situated near Playa Espanya. Great transport links and walking distance to The Magic Fountain etc. Shopping centre right opposite which also has a huge choice of restaurants. Area felt safe.

Stayed at this hotel for a short 3 night break. The room was very basic and the breakfast was adequate, but this was not a problem. Location for our site seeing requirements was ideal. The only complaint I have is that the water was turned off on the second day for well over 12 hours and we were only given... More

Had a long weekend here - it does what it says on the tin. Very clean, hospitable and good breakfasts. Really just used as a sight-seeing base which was brilliant. Great transport links - walking distance from Sants station so very easy to and from airport. Pool closed due to season so unable to comment on that. Not for those... More

The location of this hotel is fantastic, with lots of nearby transportation, a great mall, and fantastic eating options. However, the rooms are small, very old decor, terrible beds, and not that clean. The breakfast is a joke, and the service is terrible. The rooms are very noisy as well, with sound from the halls, rooms and elevator

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
