The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and it was tidied everyday. The hotel was walking distance to the underground station and the shopping centre. On the other hand, the rooms didn't have any tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was a disaster. We didn't have any eggs ; only scrambled egg which looked like something solid. Although...

We stayed here Halloween weekend for one night. What drew us here was the affordable price and good location. The hotel is located right next to Las Arenas shopping centre and right at the Plaza Espanya metro stop which makes getting to other parts of the city very convenient. We were also able to catch the Aerobus to and from...

Hotel looks nice at the first glance - everything seems perfect at first view. However, the devil is in the details. Beds in the room looks all right, but they are so light and are moving with every your move. This is because they have no structure, just two connected madrases and they just dance on the marble floor. Breakfast seems...

Dear Customer, Thank you very much for leaving your opinion about your recent stay at Hotel Onix Fira. We're sorry for the payment. We hope it has been resolved as soon as possible. This is a nice clean hotel in a fabulous location. There are many bars, restaurants and shops near by including a huge shopping centre across the road that has roof top restaurants (there's a glass elevator you can go up in for €1 or just use the escalator in the shopping centre for free). The aerobus (airport bus) stops just...

The location was great. It was within walking distance of the train station, close to Placa de Espana which is also an airport shuttle stop, about two blocks from the National Palace and very close to shopping at the Arena Mall and many good/great restaurants. It was also very close to the Metro which provided easy access all over the...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
