We returned home yesterday after a 4 night city break. The hotel room was very clean with ample space for the 2 of us. A walk in wardrobe has plenty of space and hangers. We found the iron, ironing board and hairdryer in the wardrobe. The room has a free safe and a minibar, you have to pay for what you use. The bathroom had shampoo, body wash, soap and body lotion provided and towels replaced daily. The bed was one of the comfiest I've slept on in a hotel.
We had paid for breakfast and we are glad we did, ample tea, coffee and fruit juices on offer with mainly a continental breakfast. They did provide scrambled egg, bacon and sausage as well. We really enjoyed the fresh fruit jars, we found them very refreshing.
The hotel is handy for the metro and the hop on off tour bus stop. It's also in walking distance to some attractions. We loved this hotel and would definitely recommend and would love to return one day. Thank you

Good clean hotel in a central location.. Front desk staff very helpful and informative especially when we were locked out of our room and nothing the staff tried worked until they forced the door open but we were immediately moved to a new room. The pool area was clean and well kept but some of the decking boards could do with some TLC. Overall the standard of the hotel was good although there were a few areas that could do with some attention (handles on chairs, back of toilet doors). Our room was serviced every day with clean towels every other day (if you left them on the shower floor, it would be changed) the sheets were changed twice during our weeks stay. Breakfast was excellent with a varied choice of cereals, pastries, breads, cheese, meats, bacon, eggs, sausages etc so plenty of choice. We were in a room at the front of the hotel so was excellent for people watching and not overly noisy. All in all a great experience and we would return. We used the pool area on 4 occasions, 3 times to swim and have cocktails during the late afternoon and on one late evening for cocktails, on all these occasions the staff were attentive and the pool area was a pleasant way to while away a few hours

Just back from a 4 night stay here. Lovely hotel, good location with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. There are 2 metro stops close to the hotel (Provença is closest and Diagonal is just a short walk). There is also a pharmacy next door.

We had a room facing the street, and it was very noisy at night even with the window shut. The room itself was very minimalistic but clean. The shower was fabulous! Old hairdryer which had very little power but fine for a few days.

The rooftop bar and pool was nice although slow service and very expensive drinks!! The pool is also not heated.

Overall, staff were nice and helpful, maybe a little short at times. The price was quite expensive for what you get. We didn't pay for breakfast as it is quite expensive and there are lots of cheap cafes and bakeries on the same street.

Around 7 of us including a 4 year old stayed at this hotel for a birthday bash, not fat from the city. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful and even spoilt the birthday boy with a hamper of treats such as crossiants, donuts and a free bottle of bubbly! It is a clean, nice family hotel close to public transport lines. We walked about 5-10mins to catch the hop on hop off buses that had good travel across city centre. Great location and great hotel for families and smaller groups :)

Nice hotel, good location close to La Pedrera and Casa Batllo, numerous restaurants, shops and bars. We booked the city tourist bus for the 2 full days we were there and you can pick this up opposite La Pedrera. Staff were friendly and the buffet breakfast plentiful with excellent choice. The guys who were on duty on the mornings we ate there were super friendly and we enjoyed watching the comings and goings in the square below from our table in the window above the entrance as we ate. Our room was high up and facing into a rear courtyard so it was very quiet during the nights. Room was clean and serviced daily and had a large comfy bed. We didn't use the pool or rooftop terrace as it was December, cold and we had too much to see and do but it looked really nice with a good view. The only things I would say were not great was that the room was small and the wardrobe was tiny mostly taken up with an ironing board, a fridge, safe and coffee machine. We had 4 hangers and 1 drawer between us and there was nowhere to hang coats, most of our clothes stayed in our cases as there was nowhere to hang them. The sink in the bathroom was too high up for the smaller or average person, the shower was really good though but the fan wasn't strong enough to cope and so it stayed steamed up for ages in there. Finally, whilst my husband drinks coffee, I dont, there was no milk for the t bags supplied but maybe if I'd asked, reception may have given me some? The cups were for espresso, so no good for tea and it was really confusing how many coffee pods you were allowed on a daily basis before you got charged, it seemed only 2 were allowed which is a bit rubbish for a 4 star hotel in a major city if both of you are coffee drinkers. Appreciate they cost and you shouldn't really expect limitless but it seemed a bit mean nonetheless. Other than thoes minor niggles, all good on the whole and we enjoyed ourselves.

We stayed in this wonderful hotel for 3 nights in the family room (which consists of two bedrooms connected by a small hallway ). The rooms were so comfortable with plenty of space and the bathrooms were a great standard too . We opted to have breakfast there each morning and it was top class - beautiful buffet style breakfast with excellent fruit , pastries, hot food etc and a glass of cava if you wanted ! The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful . The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring Barcelona - it’s a 10 minute walk to Gaudi’s Casa Batlló. There are lots of restaurants, cafes and tapas bars in the area. A great stay in Barcelona!

The hotel is in a great location for exploring the city- just a few minutes walk on to the famous La Ramblas street and to the hop on hop off bus stop.
The area feels safe. There are bars and restaurants all around, a couple open very late and there was some noise at the weekend from customers leaving.

We stayed here as a last minute decision in need of a bed and shower for a few nights so we weren't going for luxury but we were still disappointed. The funny thing is we chose a different hotel originally but when they told us they only had rooms with "interior views" we cancelled the reservation for this one. What do we get here? A room with an interior view. When the elevator opened there was a man with a ladder and tools splayed about, working on the ceiling. We had to squeeze around him with all of our luggage. Our room was small, like can barely open your large suitcase, small. We asked for one large bed but got 2 twins, and it wasn't very comfortable. The hairdryer had a bunch of hair stuck in the back (see photo). And although we came for it, the shower was the worst part. As if we weren't warned by the man and the ladder, the dripping ceiling and moldy smell in the hallway, they had plumbing issues so our water was turned off for about 4 hours while they fixed it. The night prior they left a note under our door that the water would be turned off at 12 so we planned our morning around that. We were shocked to try and take a shower at 10 and the water had already been turned off because the worker arrived early. After the plumbing was fixed it would take at least 5 minutes for the water to get hot and then it was either very hot or kind of cold, and the water pressure was weak. To top it off, water would leak out of the shower onto the ground leaving huge puddles, which was disgusting. There was mold on the ceiling inside the shower, exposed electrical cords by the mirror, and the ceiling was falling apart (also due to water damage? see photo). There were at least 3 outlets that when I unplugged something the whole outlet cover came off the wall. The WiFi is weak.
The location of this hotel is great, but definitely would not stay here again or consider it 4 stars or worth the price.

The hotel is amazing and the room is lovely and bright and equipped with everything you need. The only down side to the room was the bed was two singles that kept coming apart, so not good if you’re trying to sleep as a couple. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, there was a lady at reception that was very moody each day and never smiled. The roof top bar and pool is a lovely place to relax and unwind. The breakfast service was great and they had a very large variety of different foods. Would defiantly stay here again!

We visited in October and the weather was pleasant, however the pool was very cold! One lad went in, but we just sat by the poolside and drank cava! We didn’t try the hot tub but I’m sure this would be the better option of the two in April
