The Royal Ramblas is a quality hotel with a great location, but I can't recommend it until they improve their internet capability. First, the wi-fi is weak and fluctuates in signal strength, even in their public areas. Second, they offer "1 hour free of charge...More
Great location right on the ramblas. A walking distance to the barre gothic. An easy taxi ride to the other sights, and close to the subway. Checking was a breeze. Room was comfortable and pretty big, by city standards. Would highly recommend.
Hotel is in a good location, few minutes walk to Plaza Catalunya where buses leave every 5 minutes to the airport. The decor is very nice, contemporary style with earth tones. Small cozy lobby on main floor of hotel with computer and printer (internet for...More
We stayed here for one night before embarking on our cruise. The hotel is located directly on La Rambla in the middle of all the action and you can walk to everything. The front desk staff were helpful and spoke English. There's a computer with...More

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.

I am not sure if they do as I didnt ask them. However right outside the hotel there are little bussiness that sell attraction tickets. One place I would say u should buy in advance is tickets for Sargada Familia. They sell out quickly. U will have to choose a time slot that suits you.
Hope that helps
There are two metro stations close by - one able a block up the Ramblas at Placa Catalunya and the other about 4 blocks down the Ramblas. The one in the Placa is a central station and accesses 2 lines.
