Arrived in Barcelona for a sort (school half term) break. Hotel is centrally located and took EUR 29 to reach from airport. All major attractions are easily accessible by walk. Hotel rooms are decent (not wow !), but looking at location and access to restaurant and facilities (including metro), this should not concern anyone that much. Certainly recommended.

The hotel is very central. My room (502) was big, clean and comfortable. Wifi is free by the way and works well. The bed was very very comfortable and there was a nice large terrace in the room. The staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient as were the house staff. This was a great find in Barcelona as the price...

Short ways to attractions and subways. Lot of shopping and food objects around. 15 min by feet to Ramblas, 30 min by feet to the beach. Great opportunities to explore the city and the events on Barcelona on day and night.

The hotel was beautiful, clean and well staffed. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was close to lots of restaurants and shopping. The nearby metro stations provided easy access to the rest of the city. Will stay there again the next time we are...

Staff was great. Hotel is clean and has a very big breakfast selection. It is centrally located off the La Rambla, but a few blocks away from crowds and street noise. Be aware that even on the 4th floor, you can hear the metro underground every few minutes. I am usually sensitive to night noise, but found this to be...

Very disappointing. In our room the the whole of the bath and shower area needed to be renewed. The indication of cold and hot had been damaged and you had to work by experiment. The plug did not fit in the bath. The carpets were dirty and the area under the bed had not been cleaned at all. The building...

Stayed for 3 nights late October with friends in three different rooms. All were cosy, spacious and super clean. Comfy beds and pillows and quiet for a good sleep. My room was on the 7th floor with a nice small terrace (smoking room). Breakfast was rich, fresh and I'd say a bit of a nice surprise for it's price (10...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
