I arrived at the hotel at 13:00 and got the room immediately I asked for a high floor and there was no problem providing me with a room on such floor. The rooms are nice rooms there wasno view from my room (room 701) but it didn’t bother me since I wasn’t planning to stay much at the hotel. The...

We stayed five days in the hotel. Great location, comfortable European rooms, super staff, an excellent buffet breakfast. A/C was poor first two days but they corrected. Buffet breakfast is one of the best we have had in all of our travels. Huge selections. UNTIL the tour groups come in. They have one coffee machine that had 13 people backed...

We appreciate the comments made and their satisfaction is our reward for doing things right. You certainly coincided with tour group at the time of breakfast and could not enjoy 100% but are issues that we can not easily foresee, however, we usually have more space and cafe area for breakfast more leisurely. We hope to see you again on...

I've stayed here for a city break and foudn the location and the setting of hotely really nice. Close to upper part of Rambla and walking distance (cca 20 min) to La Sagrada Familia. The fact hotel offers free wi-fi and have an excellent breakfast selection, is also a significant plus. Another positive thing is the large bathroom. The only...

Me and My friend stayed here for 5 nights whilst exploring the wonderful city if Barcelona. This hotel was in a great location about 10 minute walk from the metro, 10/15 minutes from La Sagrada de la Familia and La pedrera. Also it is in a slightly less touristy area so it nice to get away from the crowds of...

The staff was incredible rude to my friend and I. To start off, one of the front desk employees had no idea where the hotel was on a city map. He circled a random spot that ended up being not only on the wrong side of the street, but far north of where the hotel was.....this caused my friend and...

it was very difficult to find a good hotel at a good price and centrally located as well. We finally found this a couple of days before our departure. We got a suite with two rooms and a balcony with a good view. The hotel was located close to the metro and it was a 20 min walk to Catalonia...

Being a fan of the Catalonia hotel chain we decided to stay there for one night before flight out from Barcelona airport. And I am so glad it was only one night! The hotel was nothing like I expected! It was not as centrally located as advertised. The area was a little run down to the point that the receptionist...

Dear Guest, we regret your bad experience with us. We inform you that the area the hotel is in the "Eixample" district one of the most exclusive in the city and just two blocks from the "Paseo de Gracia", however the location of the hotel you chose is our input highly valued, together cleaning and hotel staff. This hotel shocked us, especially since the Catalonia hotel atocha in madrid was fantastic and despite being the same chain, this one was a big disappointment. The hotel is old, the furniture looks like a college dorm room, the beds dont have blankets just sheets, the pillows have faux leather covers which are not changed between guests, the bathroom tub...

Firstly thanks for being a customer of Catalonia Hotels and tell that we have a wide range of hotels. Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
