We read varying reviews about Hotel Garbi Millenni before arriving. I can honestly say we found the whole stay excellent. We were greeted by wonderful staff who could not do enough for us, the room (202) though small was lovely. The bathroom very clean and a great shower. The air con seemed to only have one temperature but a quick...

Spend 3 nights with teenager . The room clean and cousy, the breakfast is basic. The location is great. Recomended if you have a limit budget and you come to travel and not to stay at the hotel during the day.

I spent 2 wonderful days in Barcelona after cruising. The hotel was stylish with all the necessary amenities. Room was small but suitable for 2. Nice shower tub combo. Ipod connection or radio on headboard. Location is good for walkers. Between 2 subway/metro stop. Bus stop infront of hotel. Fast foods and restaurants line the street. 15 min scenic walk...

We arrived on a Monday late afternoon after a long tiring journey and I'd booked this hotel for my boyfriends birthday as our first holiday abroad together, it was a surprise so we were both very excited at the prospect of a 4* hotel in a convenient location. Upon booking I'd specified a double room with a view, and seen...

1. Cheated - we booked a double room for 5 nights. On the first night we were given a single room (this was clearly a single room - tiny room, small bed, one power outlet, one hand towel and so on..). When we came to the reception right after entering the room to say they must have made a mistake,...

Not far from La Rambla or the port, close to the central Paral-lel metro station. The double room was big and nice, although the bathroom was a bit old. Very helpful staff. The breakfast was probably the low point, standard continental, but little value for money. You will find it better and cheaper at one of the nearby cafes.

Fabulous value for money, brilliant location, immaculate hotel and the best staff I have ever met. Without doubt this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Couldn't say enough great things about this place.

Nice clean hotel not far from the hustle and bustle of Las Ramblas which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. The room we stayed in was quite small and triangular shaped as it was situated in a corner part and when we enquired about moving to another, were told that the hotel was fully booked. The TV screen is...

Good hotel, perfect location for exploring city, only 10-12 min from La Rambla street. Big clean room (3rd floor), but instead of one double bed we had three single beds!!! They said we can switch rooms but for only two nights was not worth it . Jacuzzi nice and clean, nice view for city from the top, but we didn't...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
