Stayed here from Jan 6-9th, lovely friendly staff very helpful with directions, very clean, just like the pictures, no faults. closest metro Foneria and the L95 is just 20 minutes into the downtown central area, other stations for the downtown area are Catalunya, Diagonal, Passeig de Gracia these 2 station are right in the middle of restaurants, attractions, for the aquarium the closest station is Drassanes or the V17 drops you right into the marina. but overall a lovely hotel, lovely decor and a nice mixed breakfast, the staff speak a good level of english so communicating isnt hard.
Arrived at the hotel and was greeted by 2 very friendly members of staff. We arrived earlier than standard check in time but they very kindly checked us in and informed us that our rooms were ready - this was very helpful as we had travelled quite a long way by train. The rooms were comfortable, clean and everything we needed (standard king bed) - the windows offered great views over the port, with the other side looking at the olympic park. Great amenities, tea, coffee, water and toiletries - working air conditioning too. Breakfast buffet was filling and delicious! We were checked out by a wonderful member of staff called Javier who was very friendly and helpful. He is an asset to the hotel and the hotel should be proud to have him as an employee! Overall, a perfect stay, thank you!…
Good restaurant serving pleasant daily menus for 17€. I came several times already and will repeat, as the place is very pleasant inside. There is space and nice decoration, plus wifi working good. Food is usually fresh and nicely served, and it includes first, second and desswr
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. We were accommodated by 4 families for 4 nights, and at the time of booking, the value of the first night's accommodation for the 4 rooms was blocked on my card, i.e. over 900 euros. Upon arrival at the hotel, each family paid for the room for the 4 nights of accommodation. I requested that the amount of money that was blocked on the card be calculated for the payment of my room. They did not agree and I paid another 900 euros, telling me that they would unlock my money blocked for the reservation. Although more than 3 weeks have passed, the money has not been released. I called the hotel several times but to no avail. I don't think it's normal from a 4-star hotel, so you better choose something else.
I stated the location was ok, because it depended on what you needed. It’s fine for the airport and cruise terminal, 10/15mins in taxi. To get into the tourist parts of Barcelona it’s a good 20 mins in taxi. Or a trip on public transport. We like to walk , and other than a shopping mall, there is not much in walking distance. The hotel itself is great. Nice room, nice bar, very clean, and staff very attentive. We decided on B&B, but wouldn’t bother again. Not worth the money. I know it’s Spain but didn’t really cater for the British. But that’s just a personal choice. Plenty of fruit and pastries, for those who like that. Overall I would probably stay again if a stopover is required, but not if a city break of a few days or longer is what I want.
I stayed a week at this hotel and it was wonderful. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and they think with you into come up with good solutions to problems. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. The breakfast selection is huge. The bar in the lobby is great, nice drinks!
I came for the conference, the hotel is just near the Fira congress center. The bus and the metro stop are in close vicinity. I enjoyed the swimming pool and delicious breakfast. The hotel has a bar with super friendly staff, Vitaly, the barman, prepares great sangria! The room was spacious, with coffee machine and tea pot. Also there was a bottle of water as a welcome gesture and coffee capsules plus tea bags
We recently decided to add on a 3 day Barcelona excursion to our stay in Spain, and from the reviews as well as proximity to the airport, chose the Leonardo Royal Hotel. I have to say the whole family were delighted with the choice, the rooms where clean, and very comfortable, the restaurant and bar area were open and spacious, the roof top infinity pool and bar, was a nice place to relax and for us the metro system posed no issue. FOC station was 5 minutes walk and is direct to Nou Camp's closest metro station, but it was easy to change lines and head into the centre. Would have no issue recommending and staying at this hotel again.
Great hotel! Very clean, lovely staff and great amenities. Location is a bit of a drive from the touristy areas (Gothic, Born, etc). But it was never hard to catch a taxi from the hotel and the drive to everything is about 20 minutes with traffic. I would stay here again.
Lovely hotel, comfortable rooms and beds, lovely bar, dinner and breakfast, would definitely recommend as it is near the metro station - staff are all very helpful too. This hotel is definitely worth a stay in Barcelona. Would highly recommend this place
