The hotel is centrally located and easy to commute to different part of the City. This is right in the heart of hustle and bustle of the Barcelona. The breakfast was monotonous though, this could be improved.
Nice, clean, very central with friendly and helpful staff - we enjoyed our stay here. The price is reasonable but the breakfast, although tasty, was quite limited. Don't stay if you want quiet, as Hotel California is right in the heart of the action. Amazing...More
Location is good in the Old City and close to the Las Romblas. We arrived in pouring rain and had to walk a couple of blocks with bags, as the taxi could not drive down the hotel street. It was not a pleasant welcome from...More

With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local
musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
