A new concept of lodging. A luxury designed for people visiting the city for business or cultural grounds, looking for comfort and discretion. Six apartments with excellent amenities, family-run atmosphere in the Gothic Quarter, the historic center of Barcelona, and rentable for months. The apartments themselves are in a historic 18th-century building that has been meticulously renovated. >The interior conserves the building's period features and combines them with contemporary design. In all, the apartments provide privacy and comfort in a tasteful setting. By means of a selection of well-known authors with ties to Barcelona, literature is the theme that ties the project together and provides cultural content that supports a deeper understanding of the city. On the ground floor, on Placa Antonio Lopez, El Cafe and La Terrassa round off the services offered in the apartments. Here guests can enjoy traditional cuisine with a contemporary twist. The menu includes a selection of tapas and Mediterranean dishes made with locally sourced produce, as well as a number of breakfast options.

Neighbourhood
Barrio Gòtico (Barri Gòtic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.

We had a pleasant evening at the terrace restaurants in this venue. A bottle of white wine however should merit a decent wine cooler at the table. No such solution was available here. Shame. The food is of reasonable quality. We took the tartar of tuna, the Andalusia octopus and

Do you offer parking? (only weekends, my partner will be visiting).
The appartment we stayed in had a master bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed (double) in the leaving room, so this would accomodate 3-4 people. There are 6 appartments.
