This is the only place we ever stay in Barcelona and visit once a year, due to the situation last year we were looking forward to returning. Ever member of staff had a smile on their face and seemed like they genuinely wanted you to have a good time. We had a slight issue when we checked in and Carmen went beyond to help us, she even sang happy birthday to me the next day. The beds are amazing we haven't slept that well in ages, the room was spotless. If you fancy splashing out the suites are really nice and offer a lot of room, you can't go wrong really we have stayed in all of their room types and you get what you pay for Keep up the good work & see you next year
Just back from a long weekend away and could not fault the hotel. From check in to check out the staff could not have been more helpful. Albert greeted us with a friendly smile on arrival and Ariel made fabuous drinks on the roof terrace throughout our stay. Hotel is modern and funky. Rooms were more than comfortable with the higher ones having amazing views across the city. 5 minutes away from the metro and the Boqueria. We travel to BCN regularly for short breaks and have stopped at numerous hotels across the city. I think now we have found a favourite - great location, great rooms, and above all else - great service. Thanks for the memories - we will be back!
Great hotel. Very beautiful views from the room. Friendly and helpful staff. Great services. Amazing rooftop bar. Great location that allowed us to visit nearby restaurants, lounges, bars, cafes. Walking distance from Las Rabmlas. Amazing, would recommend to any persons traveling to Barcelona, Spain. Friends, family, couples, singles, business, all great!
I had been told many a story regarding Barcelona and it’s notorious La Rambla near where this hotel is situated. Don’t let these put you off. From the moment you walk in the hotel had a calming feel. Funky pieces of art give it a modern feel. The front of house staff are excellent and right for the start are more than happy to help with any questions you have. The rooms are clean and fresh and layer out like your in a pod. I particularly liked the shower. The bed we had was large and comfortable and everything seemed to work with the press of a button. As far as the 360 roof top bar goes it was amazing we watch the sun set over Barcelona gorgeous the perfect end to a busy sightseeing day I throughly enjoyrd my time at both the hotel and Barcelona
Usually, trendy looking hotels tend to have quality or price trade-offs, but not this one. The lobby is a great place to hang out, the staff are very helpful and polite, the gym and sauna are very well equipped. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with a huge powerful shower. The air conditioning is QUIET, super easy to set and control, overall, very highly recommended. The mattress was super comfortable and the pillows were even better than my expensive bamboo fabric pillows at home. For active travellers like me and my friends, I suggest loading up at the hotel's Breakfast Buffet which has something for everybody, from cooked eggs, bacon, sausages to a dazzling array of locally sourced cold cuts, cheeses and tons of fruit, yogurt and cereal offerings. The numerous swanky coffee machines produce all manner of delicious, strong and well brewed option for the coffee snob, (including a heavenly hot chocolate), and a really nice – and classy looking – clientele. Each serving brewed fresh and piping hot with no real queuing, so forget about elbowing your way into a coffee splattered melee and duelling over the last soggy piece of scrambled egg. This isn’t that kind of buffet. Best of all was the hotel’s long-time Buffet Manager called Sandra, who is super friendly and always helpful. She ensured our table was always clear of crockery and used utensils, clearly very efficient at her job (I used to manage staff myself before) and keeping the whole place looking sleek and elegant, unlike other buffets where plates stack up and things run out. For example, we arrived quite late in the morning and she was happy to let us sit for as long as we liked to leisurely finish our meal. We’d load up on healthy eats before renting bikes and hitting the sites, with enough energy to keep us active until the evening meal, thus saving money and precious time and by circumventing lunch and avoiding the typical ‘well, where do we eat’ saga. Sandra was full of tips and recommendations on how to best plan our days in the city and was very attentive to our needs... our group included fussy, mildly annoying brits of the 'gluten free' and 'mild food intolerance" variety.... and she went out of her way to ensure my delicate companions could enjoy the great offering and range of delicious food available, all with a twinkly smile. Any hotel can invest bags of money into a quality operation, but it is PEOPLE like Sandra that really leave an impression on the traveller and who make a hotel a success As my intrepid travel co-travellers insisted on many an early night to get their much-needed beauty sleep, I would often read my book in the lobby late at night, softly chatting to the night porters and staff every now and again about their wonderful city. Highly recommended hotel – don’t miss the rooftop at dusk. Gracias a todos!!…
