This hotel is in a perfect location, close to the Metro, in walking distance to the beach and a half hour walk to the Sagrada Familia if you don't want to take the train. There is a nice (but small) rooftop pool for the summer months. Breakfast is very good and always topped up. Overall a really pleasant stay made even better by the helpful, cheerful staff.
We were lucky enough to be given a room on the 7th floor (thank you to the staff member - sorry didn't get your name but we were connected by Chichester!) A quiet room, great black out curtains. Our room was clean, functional, great shower and comfy bed. Breakfast had ample choice for a continental. Everything was constantly topped up and fresh. Perfect location with the metro being a stone's throw away. Exit the metro at the Pujades exit and you are 50 metres from the entrance. There is an ATM, a couple of small supermarkets and places to eat by the metro but walk towards the beach (10/15 minutes down a straight road) and there are more places to eat and ATMs, shops etc. Added bonus is the water, coffee, hot water and spare cakes/pastries from breakfast which are available in reception during the day. Luggage storage provided and access to the plunge pool available even after check out if you have a later flight with a shower by the pool. Key card entry to the hotel, lifts and pool so a very safe hotel. A nice bar area with large outside area for eating/relaxing. Can't rate this place higher. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room cleaned daily. Pool towels are available and there are parasols for the beach in reception to borrow. Will definitely be back when we are next in Barcelona. The perfect place to stay with the beach so close, a plunge pool and bar on the roof and the metro. Makes the perfect base for both sightseeing and relaxing.…
Had a fantastic stay the past few nights at the ibis styles in Barcelona. Originally we were assigned a room with a queen bed and two twin pull outs which would be perfect for a family. They kindly moved us to a room with 2 twins which was very comfortable. Staff were so nice and accommodating. Big shout out to Cesar in the lounge who took great care of our group. Hoping to visit again in the future!
We had a group of 5 people with 3 rooms and everyone really enjoyed their stay. It exceeded out expectations for a budget hotel. Rooms were clean, beds fine, and the staff were great. After long walking days through Barcelona for 3 days, it was so nice each day to come back to the hotel, sit in their courtyard patio and be met by familiar faces and having the best sangrias we had in Barcelona. Food is good, and breakfast is ok, lots of choices. Keep up the great work!!!
This is a great budget hotel. Close to the beach, and within reach of some good bars and restaurants, it’s in an excellent location. Our room was clean and comfortable. Good selection of food at breakfast. We also liked the rooftop pool. Would certainly recommend.
Had the pleasure of staying here as part of our honeymoon which included a cruise from Rome to Barcelona. The hotel is in a great location. The hotel and staff are just amazing. The room was perfect and filled with balloons and welcome messages. A lovely lovely surprise. Thank you to all.
My girlfriend and I stayed at the ibis styles in Barcelona Bogatel for 5 nights in august 2022 and it was my worst hotel experience ever! They receptionist was so rude borderline racist. They treated us like crap during the entire stay, didn’t have room service and made us pay for using their safe to store our passports. Keep in mind there’s no safe in The room u have to use a common safe downstairs…Like seriously what hotel does that! Highly don’t recommend this hotel in Barcelona.
So close to the beach and shoreline entertainment areas. We have stayed at various locations in Barcelona, this area although quiet is perfect for a relaxing stay in this city, but not too far away from the busy city. Would definitely stay here again.
A few comments... -The air conditioning, difficult to adjust... - Incredible humidity in the rooms: the duvet, the sheet and the pillows were constantly soaked - In August, in a city as touristy as Barcelona and given the way of life of the Spaniards (lunch around 3 p.m., dinner after 9.30 p.m.), I think we should push back the end time of breakfast to 11 a.m. hours (instead of 10:30 a.m.). - Furthermore, I was shocked that the hotel staff, assisting in the removal of my car parked in front of the hotel, while I was unloading luggage, did not react... It was 7:38 p.m. from 8 p.m., parking is authorized)... On the other hand, by informing me of the impoundment of my car (sunroof open, luggage on the back seat...), the staff did not forget to remind me that the hotel had a car park and that it was better to pay the 16 euros per day rather than the 200 euros that I was going to have to pay to recover my vehicle. I found it cavalier and, if I had bad feelings about the inertia of the staff in front of the kidnapping of my car, I could deduce from it that the intervention of the police arranges the affairs of the hotel, d where the lack of reaction from the staff, the smirks and the sardonic tone... Thank you…
Couple of nights stay on way down to the coast. Hotel is way better than star rating. Staff are great, really helpful, super service Basic rooms, however clean, functional, all that you need for short break Roof top pool is nice bonus, only small, enough for quick cool off and a beer at the bar Location spot on, metro 2 min walk, rambles 15 min walk, beach 10 min walk Breakfast continental- more than enough choice.. Definitely recommend, great value Travelled as family of 4 interconnecting rooms.
