Our stay at this hotel was really fun: they've made some edgy (but not ridiculous) design choices with their black hallways and black accents in the bathroom. The room was comfortable, fresh, and clean, with just enough room for the two of us. I enjoyed...More
From the moment my partner and I arrived at the Corner Hotel we were delighted that we’d chosen a fantastic looking hotel with staff that made us feel instantly welcome. Raul and his team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.
I stayed here while working in Barcelona, and loved every second. The rooms are gorgeous, with very comfortable beds. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. More vegetarian options in the restaurant would be a plus (although the goats cheese salad was delicious!)
The Corner Hotel is located in the Eixample, one of Barcelona's most traditional neighborhoods, founded in the 19th century in response to the urban and industrial growth of a city that's been keen on …Morekeeping its history intact. The Hotel is the result of the extensive renovation of one of the Eixample's most representative structures. Somber and elegant, it has maintained the stylistic hallmarks of centuries past, while beyond its façade, the interior showcases a modern, convenient, and comfortable atmosphere whose décor pays homage to the city's industrial tradition. The Corner combines fine materials with contemporary elements to achieve a cosmopolitan design that captures the essence of the city, and reaches the guest in every corner. It is a functional, cozy, and friendly space in which to relax after a long day of shopping, museums, terraces or business dealings, and it's all... just around the Corner. Less

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best
exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
