Situated on the pleasant Plaza Carlos V next to the Alcazar, the Hotel Imperial Toledo is very convenient to the Plaza de Zocodover, taxis, and most of Toledo's major sites. It is a budget hotel with clean, basic rooms, that are accurately depicted on the hotel's website. The bed was firm, which I like, and comfortable; the bathroom small but...

Great view. This place seems to be at the top of Toledo. Unfortunately, there is very little close by. You have to hike down the hill to Plaza de Zocodover for almost everything. Rooms are clean. Quiet. No double bed but had 2 singles pushed together. Wifi was weak (at least in our room). Breakfast if 5 euros which was...

A little rough around the edges but the four-bed room we needed served its purpose. The location is really good-right by Plaza Zodocover. The AC worked which was a big plus can it was 100F when we were there. Not sure that I'd recommend it to others but for a 1-night stay I can't complain. Another plus, parking garages a...

But not much else. The front desk staff is very courteous. The rooms however need serious updating, the warm water is intermittent, TV was spotty, and a towel was not clean. Don't pay 5€ for breakfast when you can get a delicious one for far less nearby.

My requirements for a hotel are a good location, friendly staff, and a clean room and this met all 3. The hotel is located right near the Alcazar with parking nearby. Very easy to find. The staff was friendly, and spoke good English which was very helpful. The room was simple (as are most European hotels) and clean. The breakfast...

The location of the hotel is perfect, right behind Alcazar, but, that's it. The room had bad smell, there was no decoration at all, there was a stain on one of the blankets and there was some connection with the neighbors bathroom because you could hear them have a shower as if they were inside the room. The bed was...

this is one of those hotels that offer a good quality room and an excellent location in downtown Toledo. The only thing that could have been better is the hospitality. The person at the reception did not give us the feeling we were welcome. That is a pitty.

We only stayed here 2 nights, however, we felt we had restful sleep, even though we had rooms with balconies. Once the day-tourists leave the city, we felt we had the place to ourselves and it was magical. Other reviewers here have complained about soiled sheets, etc, but both our room and our traveling companions' rooms were spotless. The breakfast...

This was the nicest hotel/hostel we stayed at on our month long eurotrip. It is located in the heart of the old city of Toledo, right next to the Alcazar. It was clean and comfortable. The biggest problem was that during checkout the woman at the desk didn't know how to use the credit card machine so she ended up...

“I paid $50 Euros for the room, it is best to pay an extra few and truly enjoy your experience. There is an attitude that says, "well, you are never going to be in the room, except to sleep." It is so important that when you need that room or you do wish to sleep that you do so in the best environment possible. You want to enjoy your sleep, your experience, your shower, your breakfast. Splurge on your room or upgrade to a slightly better hotel because the quality of the hotel makes an enourmous difference. I loved my hotels in Madrid and Segovia. I felt embraced and cared for in the attitude, level of service and thought to detail provided.”
