Positives: The staff were so very friendly, welcoming and professional in dealing with my complaint about the room being interior, dark and having a view of the ancient lifts. Negatives: Where do I start?! The room was dark and dingy; the view and background noise was of the ancient lifts going up and down; the blankets were dirty; the bed...

This hotel is situated in the heart of the old town, close to parks, harbour and restaurants. Helpful reception staff. Our room was OK. Beds comfortable. Decent shower room. Quiet if the windows closed, air conditioning worked. A decent breakfast was provided. Economical choice for a couple of nights in this interesting city.

I spent a night at the Pelinor, arriving with the ferry from Fuerteventura. The hotel is ideally located (8 minutes by foot from the ferry dock) and the staff was friendly and helpful, even at midnight. Breakfast was nice and certainly better than in other places in the Canaries. The room was clean but a little bit small.

This hotel is located right in the city centre which is great to the price you need to pay. Rooms are quite nice and are cleaned everyday. The staff is nice and also the food is very good. I had the B&B and for such a low price I was impressed with the food. I would definitely recommend this hotel,...

For a 2 star hotel I have no complaints. Amazing location in the heart of the beautiful Santa Cruz, clean and spacious rooms and the staff have been so friendly and helpful! If you're looking for something simple and cheap then I recommend this place. Some forgo sous restaurants on each side too!

I was in Tenerife on business and was told accommodation was at a premium. Unfortunately the Pelinor was all there was available. I was put in room 301 - it was alike something out of the 50's! Very uncomfortable bed, pillow terrible. No tooth mug or glass, mini bar fridge completely frozen up and MT. The noise level was in...

We booked Hotel Pelinor just a little more than a week before our visit to Santa Cruz for Carnaval. We weren't sure of it's location, in relation to the festival's events, but we couldn't have picked a better spot. The hotel was in the very center of it all, and our street was the site to many of the all-night...

Basic but quite large clean rooms, fantastic location friendly helpful staff. Best location for carnival time but the price rockets then. Rooms at the rear of the hotel over look the route of the funeral of the sardine procession. Little bar/cafe next door (forgot the name) is one of the best in town.

This hotel is in an excellent location. Damiras, the receptionist is very knowledgeable and helpful. She goes out of her way to ensure customers needs are looked after. Lovely restaurants nearby and easily accessible. Would go back again! ! However, noise levels at night are on the high, especially if you require a rest!!
