We stayed here as a family of 5 over new years. Hotel is a decent 3 star hotel that's clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly and most spoke good English. The pool is great, its heated in winter which is a must. Pool is set in beautiful gardens and Tennis(10€ per hour) and table tennis is available on site. Great washing machine (€3) & dryers(€2). Pool towels are available for €10 deposit each.
We were in a room over a bar on the street side and some nights its was extremely noisy until 2am. We asked to move but unfortunately they didn't move us. No sun on balcony either so I think it was just a bad room allocation.
There are lots of eateries in the area (we like mini golf restaurant) and also a great playground right beside hotel. Town is about a 15-20 mins walk down the steps and taxi back is €4.
I would stay here again but hopefully not in room 145!

We stayed as a family for 5 days and it was a great experience. We stayed in a spacious studio, with 2 single beds and another additional bed under the sofa, which rose to the same height, ample size and all of them comfortable.
The studio had a well-equipped kitchen, with kitchenware and a washing kit. Dining table with two chairs and another table with two other chairs on the terrace, which also had an extendable clothesline.
The bathroom, very correct and above all clean.
I recommend the rooms that face the pool as they are quieter.

There is no parking but it is easy to find parking nearby. Maybe in the middle of summer it will be a little more complicated.

It is located in the upper part of Puerto de la Cruz, in a quiet area, with low-rise and spaced buildings (apartments, single-family homes and hotels), which means there is no feeling of being overwhelmed or of being surrounded by concrete. It has shops, bars and restaurants nearby. A good location to ensure quiet nights without giving up leisure, but less crowded.
From the La Paz viewpoint you can see spectacular sunsets and it is just a 4-minute walk from the apartments.

You can perfectly take a walk to the lower part (keep in mind that you have to go down and then up some stairs), where the beach is, the Martianez lakes, the promenade...
A 15-minute walk (without running) takes you to the stop of the free train that takes you to Loro Parque.

Both breakfasts and dinners very correct. Maybe not excessive variety, but enough. At dinners, drinks are not included, please note.

The pool is great, spacious, clean, pleasant water temperature and in an environment with lots of vegetation. There is another pool for little children. They have towels (with a deposit that is returned), churros for the little ones and sun loungers with cushions.

There is also a small laundry and tennis courts (lessons can be booked).

The best, the friendliness of the workers. Special thanks to María, at reception, who has been a delight from the first moment.

As a point of improvement, it could use an update. Changing the red sofas, which are already quite old-fashioned and outdated, in both the common areas and the rooms, the change would be enormous!

There were some areas where you could see that they were undergoing construction, which will surely improve.

Lovely well maintained hotel with immaculate gardens. Our room overlooked the pool so every morning we witnessed the stampede of guests at 8.50am literally running to grab their sun beds for the best locations. Absolutely disgraceful behavior and I won’t name the nationality but they are well known for this type of selfish behavior. Apart from this, breakfast was good, staff helpful and rooms were spotless.

We chose this aparthotel due to the excellent offer we found for half board. The staff at the reception and in the dining room welcomed us immediately with the utmost kindness and made us feel at home throughout the week. The room (studio apartment with kitchenette and small balcony overlooking the pool) was not brand new, but very well kept, clean and quiet. The swimming pool and garden are two jewels where you could feel great, I think the real strong point of the hotel. As for the buffet, there was a good offer at both breakfast and dinner and we always managed to find food to our taste, in fact in some cases truly excellent. Drinks were not included but with very honest prices. The pool towels are supplied with a deposit (€10 each in cash) which is returned upon check out. The safe costs €2.50 per day plus a €5 deposit for the magnetic card that activates it, which will also be returned at the end of the stay. However, all of this was fully described at the time of booking. The center of Puerto can be reached in about fifteen minutes on foot, but it's all a staircase, so the return trip in the heat was decidedly tiring. This is perhaps the only negative point. However, in the area there are clubs, restaurants and a beautiful panoramic walk. A stone's throw away there is also the beautiful botanical garden not to be missed. Even though it was the middle of August we always found parking nearby. Finally, regarding the smell of food complained about in other reviews, we have never noticed it. Considering the quality/price ratio I feel like giving the maximum score and honestly I would happily go back.

We had a great 4 night stay here over the Easter holidays. The hotel is a bit dated, but this is more than made up for it's positives: the heated pool and pool area is lovely, the rooms were basic but spotless and comfortable, the staff were very helpful and efficient and the food for both breakfast and dinner was great, with fresh fruit and salads available. The half board option is exceptionally good value. We found parking easily on the street just outside the hotel and enjoyed walking downhill into the main town (5 euros in a taxi to get back). The kids loved the play area just behind the hotel and the mini golf around the corner near by looked good, though we didn't have time to go there. There are lots of shops (including a supermarket where you can buy 8l bottles of water), restaurants and bars nearby. We asked for a quiet room and were given one overlooking the pool which was perfect. We recommend the walk to Bollullo beach.

We stayed for two weeks. Any problems were sorted by the management when we complained. Handy having fridge and kitchen equipment, with a living and diningroom area. Would have liked to have a kettle in room.
The restaurant is to be commended. The food is fantastic! We were half board but the price for purchasing food at the cafe or restaurant was very reasonable. The restaurant staff were amazing. They were very child friendly, happy, helpful and I thought they were marvellous.
The live entertainment was not to our taste. A performer with a keyboard. There really is not enough room for people to want to enjoy the entertainment to be fair.
Hotel had a heated pool for April. Life guard on duty with inflatables banned.
Reception staff team of a man and woman were exceptionally helpful.

Lovely apartments, we went bed and breakfast and the breakfast is amazing, loads of variety. The rooms are lovely and clean with a nice balcony, the walls are thin so can hinder sleep if you're a light sleeper. Air conditioning would be a bonus as it does get quite hot in your room. The location is great, shops and restaurants round the corner and can walk into the main centre in 25 minutes and a cheap taxi ride back, the walk back is quite steep. The pool area was quiet all day and always able to get a couple of sunbeds. Have already recommended to friends and family

Stayed for three nights with friends. Classic Spanish hotel. The pool area was lovely and clean and plenty of loungers and umbrellas. The pool was a good size and deep. I rarely leave reviews but certain staff members had gone above and beyond to help us. We had booked breakfast but on our last day we had to miss it, the man at the reception sorted us out with some packed lunches (including a gluten free option). Also the food was very nice and one chef made sure I had gluten free bread and pastries in the morning. On the one evening we ate in the hotel the chef came over to me with a slice of gluten free cake which I really appreciated as I hadn’t even asked! Excellent customer service! The only negative (and reason for 4 starts instead of 5) were the beds, the sofa bed was not very comfortable for an adult to sleep on. The room was basic but contained all the essentials and was clean. Would recommend the location but the walk down to the town is very steep and maybe not the best if you have mobility issues or don’t fancy walking up a hill in the heat!

The hotel has come of age, the rooms large enough, not modern and also not barrier-free, but clean. Minor necessary repairs (bathroom) and changes were done promptly; the staff were friendly and helpful.
So far the positive.

Breakfast was mostly a disaster.
Cheapest sausage, e.g. pressed cooked ham and only one type of sliced cheese - always the same. The scrambled eggs were probably made from some liquid egg mass; because of this consistency and taste I only tried it once.
Fat bacon and cheap sausages abounded - not for us.

The rolls (not whole grain, of course) were probably not quite fresh, the crust tasted "dusty" (original shade of my wife); luckily there was also grey bread.

Unmixed oatmeal and grains, e.g. pumpkin seeds or flax seeds, were missing for the cereal. The "sweet stuff" was enough, the fruit salad from the can.
Fresh fruit was served in one piece, so you could complement the cereal with home-made fruit.

Jam only 2 varieties and packaged, no open jam and the taste was lousy. Some of them bought themselves jam.

The taste highlight was then the coffee; "taste" of instant coffee with not cleaned fully automatic machine?

Grotto bad!! We've never had such bad coffee. With the tea you had to stay afloat.

The overall selection is good for guests who place little emphasis on quality and healthy eating.

Finally, it should be noted that guests must set the table themselves.
For this purpose, the service personnel otherwise organize a sound level that is second to none - not only permanent clattering of dishes, but also nonsensical chairs and tables to correct, to probably show that one is busy.
The acoustics of the room are poor - breakfast coziness equals zero.

The evening buffet we preferred to do without; we found some great restaurants in the village.

We really cannot recommend the place.

Rated 4 stars at Spies, but no more than 2 stars.
Guests behave as in the lower middle class, and the hotel staff also treats guests as such.

Negative:
- Everything is worn out, furniture, bathrooms etc.
- The toilet can repeatedly not pull out.
- The soap tank in the bath does not work and should also be used for hand washing
- No hair shampoo
- Cleaning in reality only every 2 days
- Behind the bed lies dust and lots of shit from previous guests
- Some cleaning people directly unpleasant
- freezer in the refrigerator can not cool ice clumps
- no air conditioning/heating
- Reception friendly, but appointments are repeatedly not respected.

The above creates extremely much waiting time and frustration.

Positive:
The pool area is only used from about 9-18, during which time noise must be charged, otherwise quiet. (I had room facing the pool.) Good for families with children.
2 tennis courts and 1 table tennis.
The kitchen finely equipped (if a person!) and with dishwasher (cloth, dishwasher, sponge, brush).

I like the area, but it is NOT centrally located. It is located high above the city, and you have to go down/up many steep stairs to reach the center, about 1.5 km.
