Before I start I'd like to say how much of a beautiful place Puerto De la Cruz is and how much it is worth a visit, built into a hill the town is very steep and my room was no different, As other reviewers have already said Brits tend to get the rooms hidden at the back at a top...

The grounds of the hotel are great, restaurant is good plenty to eat, lot of milling around in the restaurant though due to it being buffet style, when it comes to the room we got We were disappointed, as our little hovel was nothing like the pictures on their website or the TUI Brochure. Hope this clears anyone's mind. Oh...

We have just returned from two weeks in this hotel. We were lucky and were given a lovely large room with a fridge in a quiet position with a terrace leading out to a garden- I loved this room. The other British guests we spoke to weren't so lucky and were very unhappy with their rooms which were either facing...

This is just about the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Check in was abysmally slow with a long queue of guests and just one person working in reception. The room we were allocated was ever so basic; only sparsely furnished and the decor was just dull painted woodchip walls. There were a couple of screws which no doubt...

This hotel is at the top of a very steep hill and has a number of stairs and no lifts, so is not suitable for the less mobile. On booking in there is no one available to help with suit cases or show you to your room, you just find your own way. The room we had could do with...

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! The rooms which you get put in are completely shocking and do not compare with the price you pay to stay here. Of one day of being here there had already been 6 ENGLISH couples which had complained about there rooms as they'd had been put out the way and was like a prison.

Beautiful, peaceful garden and pool area Walk down to town and beaches fairly easy, but make use of the hotel shuttle bus or taxis on the return journey from the sea front. We are fairly fit but the steep hills back to the hotel are very hard work. Room spacious with good size bathroom with shower and bidet, but a...

Despite other reviews, I always have an open mind. We were pleasantly surprised by the standards and the welcome was lovely despite arriving at midnight due to delays. The food was not 5 star but good quality with a good selection every day. Staff were friendly in spite of some having difficulty with English. Some people do forget this is...

I stayed here for a week with my sister. We arrived and to start with everything seems nice. The gardens are worth 4 stars but sadly the rooms are not. It was like staying at a hostel. Beds like cambeds and we're very uncomfortable. Room was very cold and had to ask for more blankets as the heating was broke...

I was really worried coming here after reading some of the reviews and I really shouldn't have been. I stayed here last September/ October for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is located in beautiful surroundings close to the Tauro park. The English Church and Library is close by as is the British school. Like a lot of...
