Was due to attend a conference being held in this hotel but unfortunately the conference was cancelled at the last moment. I along with my wife an 4 others thought well…we will go anyhow and make a little holiday of it. We are all so glad we did. Despite the fact that our group had diminished somewhat the hotel could not have been more welcoming and understanding.
We stayed full board and found the food to be very satisfying. Mostly typical Spanish in style and very well prepared. Always something to suit everybody. This hotel does not off all-inclusive yet there is no need for it to do so as the cost of refreshments both in the dining room and in the lounge are very reasonable.
The rooms were comfortable, well maintained and serviced.
The roof top pool and outside areas are kept very tidy and are comfortable. The Gym and Sauna (although we did not use) are well fitted out. The sauna area in particular looks very new and fresh.
Although the hotel is not situated on the ‘front line’ it is only 2mins from the door to Las Canteras beach which is stunning!
A fantastic location giving you all the options as a base for exploring the city, exploring the island and relaxing on the beach.
Our group of 6 had a fantastic time and found all the staff to be very friendly, helpful and attentive.
I would definitely use this hotel again.

Stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights in late January after signed off from work from our cruise ship along with two other crew members. And since there were three of us, our company booked us the triple bed room. The hotel does look rather dated but clean and well maintained, and so does our room, which was room 201. There is an aircon and to turn it on you have to turn a keyswitch (clearly marked) to the left of the bathroom door; it cannot be turned on directly using the remote control unless you turn the keyswitch on first, but we didn't use it at all during our stay since the air outside was cool. The shower pressure wasn't strong enough which was a bit disappointing. WiFi connection was super fast and can be used up to 10 devices according to the front desk.

The foods in the restaurant downstairs were okay, no complains there. There is a bar and a lounge area where you can relax and chat, as well as a swimming pool and a game room on the rooftop. Staffs were friendly and the service was excellent.

For the location, hotel is very close to the Canteras beach and about 10 minutes walk to the El Corte Ingles department stores. Overall, it was a good stay in this hotel.

We recently spent a week in this hotel and were generally very pleased with our choice. We felt secure with the quite strict covid protocol in the hotel. You have to wear a mask when you are not in your room and this is enforced by all staff. The room was a good size, quite airy and plenty of wardrobe space. A safe key is available for a small daily fee. No balcony and the room overlooked a fairly busy road. However, this was not really an issue. The roof terrace is a real plus in this hotel. The sea can be glimpsed from there, seating is available along with a small pool. The bar on that floor serves local beer very cheaply and there is a pleasant indoor area too if the sun does not shine.
The breakfast buffet was extensive but the menu did not change throughout our stay. Arrive no later than 8.30 to be sure to get a clear table! Staff do their best but it can get busy down there. We also ate three buffets in the evening, once again very good value at 12 Euros each with a bottle of house wine at 3.50 Euros.
The location of the hotel is very good despite initial concerns about the area. There are supermarkets very close by, plenty of places to eat and the the wonderful Playa de las Canteras is around 150 metres away. A walk along the esplanade there is essential each day!!
A 20 minute stroll takes you to the Santa Catalina bus station with its links to other parts of the island.
All in all, a very good place to stay if you want to explore the city of Las Palmas and its surroundings.

Second time to stay here. Lovely area close to beach. Great variety of food for breakfast in a spacious dining room. The rooms have comfy beds and always plenty of hot water for bath/shower over bath and soap, shower wash, shower caps supplied. No fridge or kettle in room. The rooms don't have balconies. Excellent bar on 5th floor and rooftop pool. Two lifts which were always available and fast. I'd recommend this hotel to friends and look forward to another visit someday. Great service from every member of staff, reception staff very good at replying to my emails before my visit, and Hotel is spotless. Bus station is called Santa Catalina 10 minute walk from Hotel we travelled to Porta Rico for the day costs around 8 euro each way. Taxi stand is outside front door of Hotel.

Hotel to flee, this one is not up to standard. We have no ventilation in the bathroom, all the joints and window frame were full of mold and they had removed the wrist from the bathroom window so impossible to open and no ventilation. All knowing that I’m asthmatic and allergic to mold and that I have an inhaler. And at the reception no one does anything Yet when we saw the room next to it we saw a wrist at the bathroom door and the maid told us that we just had to ask at the reception to be able to open it.We laughed at nansun technician came to put it on. Menthol spray in the bathroom to hide the smell!!!
And the when you explain to the manager that in the next room there is a wrist , you ask him why there is no ventilation he has no answer to provide you. I am not talking about breakfast or you are told that you can eat from 7:30 am to 10 am and in fact, depending on the floors you learn that there is a preferred hour depending on your floor and that you must also wait for someone to place you when there is an elevator or people can come down without queuing.Really all staff contradict each other, a special mention to Kevin the very unpleasant waiter, in 20 years of travel c is the first time I put a comment like this.Really run away don’t get screwed like us

I stayed here with my boyfriend and the rooms are very spacious, the breakfast is standard but can’t complain, the drinks here are very cheap being €1 for a can of coke. they have an on-site sauna which can be privately used and is very lovely. most of the staff have little to no english but we didn’t find this to be a problem during our stay.

Reading other reviews we were cautious about the area as to which the hotel was in, but the area is brilliant. there is about 3 minute walk to the beach, which is home to so many restaurants which are absolutely delicious. it is around a 20 minute walk to the local aquarium, museum and shopping centre. i 100% recommend a visit to the museum, it is €6pp. There are however about 2 homeless guys that are around the street but they are super friendly and cause no trouble at all!

The air-con in the room is slow but does the job, and the beds are very comfortable. the hotel has lift access to all floors, and they have a large amount of facilities to offer.

In terms of COVID-19 there is hand sanitiser in every room and in the lifts. The use of face masks is not used here but feel free to wear one.

Really enjoyed the hotel, was plenty to like about it! The hotel itself was nice and clean, the breakfast buffet in the morning was more than enough with plenty of options!
Rooms were basic, a fridge in the room would have been a massive help, as would an iron and the shower pressure could have been better. However, it was clean and the cleaning staff did a good job on a daily basis.
Pool area was good, never had an issue with getting a sun lounger and the pool area was in the sun all day! Drinks at the bar were cheap, cocktails around €5 and a draught beer was €2!
Location is great and plenty to do, huge shopping mall about 30 mins walk down the beach and only a 15 min walk to the main bus station where you can get the bus for €13 return to Maspalomas.
Christian on reception was lovely and really helpful, he was always smiling and made us feel very welcome!
For what we paid I really can’t fault it, we had a lovely time!

We stayed at the bull hotel for 3 nights for a short city break the location is fantastic 40 euros from airport and a taxi rank outside if you decide to explore further the hotel is 2 minutes from the beach and prime location for bars and restaurants.
We stayed bed and breakfast which was ok orange juice good bread rolls fresh not much cereal or fruit but for a budget break we found it acceptable. The rooms are a little dated but really comfy beds we had a topper on ours I have read reviews about hard beds we didn’t have that problem good comfy pillows towels changed daily and rooms cleaned. If you want to spend time in a room rather than explore the city or expect luxury this isn’t for you.
Roof terrace bar good and drinks really cheap for a hotel. For a city break this is the perfect location and if I wanted a short break I would return.
Staff also all very friendly from reception to restaurants.

Stayed November 2021.

Not a bad hotel even though it requires updating.

Staff very friendly and helpful especially in the dining room.

Food repetitive as 3 stars usually are but not bad. Plenty of fresh fruit but very little in the way of sweets.

For the first time in a hotel water at eating times was complimentary. Drinks are very reasonable €3.50 for full bottle of wine with meals. Bottles corked and saved for next time if not drank. Waiters are very good. One thing is breakfast is very over occupied and should be more structured. People stood by your table waiting for you to finish even witnessed arguments over gazumping tables already being used. Nearly lost ours even though we had set it and had Food on it!!. We really think this should be addressed as we were asked on booking in to go down for breakfast at first sitting because we were on the fourth floor. Obviously not everyone adhered to this.

Bed sheets are very worn as are the towels but replaced every day and sheets changed every 4 days.

The rooms are in need of a refurbishment but comfortable and spacious .

Top floor seating area and bar not bad. Didn't use the pool so can't comment.

Reception happy to print any paperwork you need. Good Internet.

All in all not a bad hotel but could be a lot better with some refurbishment.

I stayed here for around 3 weeks. In terms of the hotel its biggest asset are its friendly staff. Rooms are very basic, wifi is decent speed and unlimited, air con is noisy and beds are small. Doubles are actually two single beds pushed together and they frequently move apart during the night. Location is great, buffet breakfast has reasonable choices but never varies so gets boring after a week or so. Rooms reasonably clean though detailing needed. All in all it is adequate for my needs without being anything special. As i work in las palmas regularly it will likely not be my last stay
