We have done many of the usual tourist hotspots and tired of them. In January we called into las palmas on a cruise and were pleasantly surprised by what we saw. The city, paseo and beach all in one. Looking at trip advisor the Reina Isabel seemed ideal. What we found was not quite what we expected. Looking back through... More

I stayed in this hotel between the 20th and 22nd August 2012. I paid in full on arrival by credit card. On returning to Ireland I noticed from my account that i had been charged twice. I rang the hotel and got no satisfaction. I was asked to send on a copy of my credit card bill. They had no... More

Based on previous stays and excellent location we decided to return to the Reina Isabel to celebrate my sister's college graduation. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly and professional valet, which my mother recognized from a previous stay, which put us all at ease. At check-in an obviously new guest service agent (friendly and sweet), went through the... More

This was our first visit to Canary Islands and the first impression is of the main importance. The stay was really great. The room was big and full of air because of a window wall. Not the modern one but strong old fashioned. If you are looking for the flashing disco - this is wrong place but if you are... More

The hotel is nicely situated at the beach. The breakfast was very good and the staff was always helpful. The hotel had a contact with car-rental which was convenient. We had no meal at the restaurant since we explored the town and island, so I cannot say anything about the dinner. From the pool on the roof you had a... More

Just returned from a week's stay. We had been to Gran Canaria previously but not to Las Palmas. The hotel deserves its 4* status, the breakfasts have already been well written about and deserve all the commendations. Equally the evening meals were very nice with a great selection to choose from with food also being cooked as guests are dining.... More

This hotel used to be the best & most luxury, but has declined to ok-level. Rooms are basic, with a faint smell of mildew and cigarette (non-smoking these days). The air con does not work well, had lots of trouble with it. The sun roof is rather nice, but crowded, as it's a big hotel. You can order quite good... More

My Wife and I recently spent 8 nights at La Reina Isabel at Las Canteras beach Las Palmas and had for the most part a wonderful experience.. As often mentioned in other reviews the breakfast choice is amazing. Something for all tastes and if taken full advantage of, could last the average eater till dinner time. The Spa is wonderful...
