Really nice hotel in a good location. This hotel is not new, so some would say it needs a refurbishment. At the same time, the place is full of charm and character. It for sure could do with more and better pillows but I suppose you could ask for that at reception. We only stayed one night so was not...

Love the style of this hotel. The room was not so big and the bed rather small... But it had the things a five star hotel should have - or almost..... Hairdryer very old, no iron, no aircondition, no coffee maker.... Used glasses were not replaced every day, neither was the minibar filled every day. But it was cleaned and...

This is a lovely old grand hotel with Gardens statues and fountains in front. It has a nice shady bar with outside seating and great, friendly service. Just the spot for a relax on a walk around town. Not extortionate either, just west end prices. Worth a visit

A fantastic old hotel in the heart of Gran Canaria Las Palmas. Within walking distance of the waterfront with plenty of restaurants. Or take a taxi to Marinara Restaurant for the most amazing seafood on the island. The hotel is quaint but spacious. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Sevice was typical Spanish, friendly and helpful. Nothing...

I felt I had to write this review after staying in Las Palmas for 2 nights. We were going to book this hotel and were put off by reviews saying the hotel was tired and rooms in need of refurbishment. Big mistake! - This hotel was the only hotel we saw during our stay that looked like a 5 star...

First of all, the service is great, friendly and attentive. The location of the hotel is great, right opposite the sports harbor of Las Palmas, and right in the middle between Plaza Santa Catalina on the north part of the city, and the Mercado Vegueta on the south side. A taxi will put you in either area in less than...

I stayed in the Hotel Santa Catalina on business from the 13th - 19th of March 2017. This is truly a grand old hotel, which has definitely stood the test of time, it is immaculately presented from the almost colonial lobby to the reception, restaurants (inside and outside) and bar areas. My room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the...

We had a lovely week here early March '17. We had a superior room and it was lovely, kept very clean. We found all the staff very pleasant and efficient. We were half board and the restaurant was marvelous. The food was fantastic, very haute cuisine, extremely tasty. The local bus into the old town stopped just outside the hotel...

We booked into the Hotel Santa Catalina for the last three days of our Gran Canaria holiday. We read mixed reviews but as the Santa Catalina was the oldest hotel in LAS Palmas we decided to book. We were not disappointed on driving in to the hotel we were greeted with old world charm, impressive entrance and lobby, friendly staff...
