Wonderful hotel, with it's interesting history, beautiful design, perfect lighting and one of the top Palma restaurants - Marc Fosh - on site. Marvellous staff, always kind and helpful. They go out of their way to make the stay pleasant and they're not overbearing. We will go back!…
Overall the hotel is OK, the people engaged just and if it would be a 3-4 starts hotel I have had rated it accordingly. But if you are expecting a supreme service, extraordinary rooms and just the extra on the top to regular, this one is the wrong place to go. For sure the cost per night is equivalent the 5 stars category just the performance is not matching. We stayed in various 5 stars hotel over the years and I regularly use 4 starts in business across EU and globally so there is much comparison given. Suggestions for change: 1. No entering a room from service personals without knocking a door and asking for permission 2. Once someone joins the breakfast, ask right away for coffee and an egg and not wait until breakfast is over, or even the guest is asking on its own 3. Air condition, upgrade the devices to reduce noise level 4. Provide real service at the pool and not just when someone is calling for it 5. And never never, call a Madam as a Mr. and if a such fauxpas appears, apologies right away and in open manner …
Great location. Awesome welcome. Some really nice touches like a welcome bottle of Cava. The roof is great for chilling. Slightly disappointed with the noise on a night after 12. Very loud! Once it was gone 15/30 mins later it was fine. But if you plan on sleeping before that it's difficult! Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. Loved the sculptures!…
We’d definitely go back. Staff exceptionally friendly. Not overbearing. On arrival we (x4) were given complementary cava during check-in (could have had anything) and we were subsequently given complementary bottles of cava to our rooms, when they realised it was a birthday celebration. Rooms amazing, try to go for a room on the beautifully doored corridors (they will know what we mean - we were in room 33 - exceptional). Little pool and outside relaxing area was lovely! Overlooked and small pool but still great. Do book the private solarium on the lower ground floor. Sauna and heated small pool amazing and particularly nice to have to yourselves for an hour or so. Finally breakfast super - you can literally have anything you want ... including cava! Tip: check your taxi driver knows where they are going. Hotel is really well situated but ‘off the beaten track’ and not prepossessing from the outside ... in fact you wouldn’t know it was there. Might even be better to ask for the Marc Fosh restaurant.…
We stayed at this lovely converted convent for 6 nights. The rooms are very big, clean and was very lucky to have a junior suite, on the 2nd floor. Breakfast is lovely, with plenty of choice, plus a selection of hot food everyday to order.
"Room 31 is on a corner, away from the main corridor. It's not far to the lift or pool area."Read full review
