Got bed bugs here. Started seeing bites on me in the morning after my first night there. When I left I found that bed bugs had infested my bag and I had to throw everything away. Very costly. Seems like a bad idea to have carpet floors in a hostel makes for good breeding ground for bugs, this is probably...

My sister and I stayed here and had a terrible experience. Olga's place is like someone's tiny old apartment that's pretending to be a hostel. The first room we stayed in smelled terrible!!!! When we asked to switch rooms, the very rude staff member told us the only way he would agree to let us change is if we wrote...

It was kind of hard to find, but I had an excellent time at Olga's. They provided entertainment ideas, took us out on the town, and the staff was unbelievably helpful and friendly. I would totally stay here again if I come to San Sebastian, but I have to admit this isn't a place for families, and more for younger...

Great hostel, exactly what I wanted for San Sebastian. The rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were all clean, and everyone was really welcoming from the second I got there. Towels are free. My phone didn't pick up the wifi that well in my particular bedroom, but it was good in the common areas and the kitchen. There was a fun sangria...

The hostel was a bit tricky to find but easier if there are other backpackers to follow. As another group arrived at the same time as us, we didn't get much of a introduction to the place, which we later found out included a tip to use the showers in the other flat as the ones in ours were often...

Had the best time staying here over Christmas. The owners of this hostel are lovely people and very helpful. The hostel is an apartment so very nice and cosy. There is a kitchen with everything you need and it's located just 2 minutes from the beach. The hostel is small which is great for meeting other travelers. Can't wait to...

I didn't stay very long but I felt a really good vibe at this place, the owners/staff were friendly but not always in your face. The location is great (2 blacks from the beach), and San Sebastian is a wonderful destination . I would recommend Olga's as a hostel to anyone who just wants to hang out and explore the...

I booked for a night at the end of September and I ended up staying 4 nights. The vibe in this hostel is excellent. It has a laid back atmosphere while still being clean and professionally run. Mixing with the other travelers is easy and happens naturally here. Most everyone who stays here has an open mind and attitude, so...

Good location, within a minute's walk to the surf beach and a comfortable distance to the other main beach. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Super friendly hosts, wife and husband Olga and Raffa. Every other night they let u know about paella Raffa is making fresh or a pinxtos or pub crawl. At €30 (no breakfast) a night, it's at the...

Great location. Near Donostia's/San Sebastian city center, 1-2 minutes to the beach (the smaller one, not the emblematic bay). Quiet zone but with everything you might need. Chinese shops, beach, surf schools, supermarket, convenience stores, etc. When we arrived we were received by the owner that put us on pair with things. As it seems, there was a problem with...

“Probably the closer to the kitchen/office would have better wifi, but I don't know for sure.”

“You can't go wrong - choose any room!”

“I slept 3 hours. Not because of other clients' noise, but because the bedroom we chose had a window that was linked to an "interior atrium" where the neighbours kept talking till 4 o'clock in the morning, proving difficult to catch any sleep at all. I don't know if it's possible to choose/give a prior indication about your preferences upon the reservation process, but it seemed that Olga's Place (that comprehends an entire 2nd building floor albeit divided in left and right) was more social/"communitary" on the left side and more calm and quiet on the right side.”
