I spent one night in San Sebastian and wanted to be close to all the action. I read about Europa before going and decided to give it a try. The location is excellent, 2 blocks from the beach (which is lovely) and just a few minutes to the old town. Our room was large and comfortable and had free WiFi.... More

Location is great for exploring san seb. If you have a car be sure to have studied the map as many streets are one way only so took us a while to get to the hotel and get parked in the nearby garage. Room clean but very dark. Black out curtains encourage a good sleep well into morning.

I'm not quite sure how the other reviewers gave this hotel high reviews. First of all, calling this establishment a "hotel" is an exageration. It is more like a hostal. The location is in the middle of the city with a narrow door entrance surrounded on both sides by smoky bars and cafes. We proceeded to go to our rooms... More

We stayed at Husa Europa for one night on our way to Pamplona for the running of the bulls. We stopped in at the Office of Tourism in San Sebastian and were pleased with the fact that we could book a hotel on the spot. Husa Europa's rates through the office were awesome. The location is central, and literally a... More

We arrived without a reservation at night and were received with a big smile and lots of hospitality. Friendly people, everything nicely clean and at the best location! Could not have been better.

we booked a room here a few weeks before our stay. The Hotel is ideally located being a block from Playa de la Concha and a short stroll up to Old Town (Dining) and about 10 minute walk to Playa Zurriola - which we liked better because of the surf. The room was a bit small but very comfortable, cozy,... More

My friend and I stayed at Hotel Europa in June 2007 to celebrate our 30th birthdays! The hotel was in an excellent location - walking distance to the water and the Old Town and still moderately priced. It wasn't as pricey as the hotels on the water and the location was much better then some of the cheaper hotels. The... More

Having booked late, so with reduced options, I scanned the earlier reviews at length to satisfy myself that this 3* hotel, which was rated average at best, would meet our priorities. So firstly - what's good about the hotel?: LOCATION - less than two minutes from the beach, less than 10 from the old town (restaurants and bars), 15 minutes... More

I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel with friendly staff and a good location close to the beach. The rooms were a little small but did have mini balconies and to be honest you don't spend a lot of time in the room. San Sebastian is a fabulous location with great restaurants and outstanding architecture - well worth a... More

The best about this hotel is its location very close to the beach and to the old city. Rooms are clean but really very small and a bit noisy. The parking nearby is quite expensive (18 € daily).Very nice staff so if you don't mind the lack of space just go for it!
