My trip to San Sebastian was in January. Outside of the tourist season. I visited San Sebastian a few times before and I noticed the hotel overlooking the city. This time I booked at the Mercure San Sebastian Monte Igueldo. The hotel is located on top of the hill and is overlooking the Gulf of Biscay on one side and...

Good service and nice room, with the most amazing view of the city. Only are of improvement is to tell the customers that one of the two roads that goes up the mountain has a gate that closes at night. We took that road, and had to go all the way down and around. Not fun, with pouring rain late...

My husband and I stayed here last month, but I'm not sure I'd stay again if we return to San Sebastian. There was nothing terrible, but there are a few things that should be addressed. Pros: amazing views over San Sebastian from our balcony, friendly staff, we stayed in a privilege room and it seemed like it had been remodeled...

The view from Monte Igueldo is spectacular but a walk here would suffice & stay closer to Old Town. The hotel is ok. The beds needs updating & be a bit more firm. The hairdryer was terrible. The price was good but taking the taxi to town & back may negatethe savings. The funicular doesn't run until 11am & stops...

I think all those amazing photo's taken of Donostia-San Sebastian were taken from the terrace balcony of this Hotel. Get a room facing the right direction and you will sleep to that amazing view. Trip to Hotel from Donostia-San Sebastian Airport would cost approximately Euro45. A better option would be to take the bus to San Sebastian town for less...

We stayed with our two kids for two nights and paid serious money, but when arrived the swimming pool was closed! Big bummer for kids! A big marriage party was going on all night and no sleep for us! The staff did not feel sorry for us at all when we needed sleep after a long drive from Holland to...

This hotel has the best view of the town from a very high ground. Very good service and excellent breakfast. Unfortunately, all the rooms do not have city view , but once you come out to the deck you will have panoramic view of the city.

From a hotel, there is really beautiful city view. It was clean and quite well organize. From the other hand it´s a bit old fashioned. The breakfast wasn't nothing special. It took a while to get beer in the evening in the bar and during the check out I was asked to pay more than just one beer I really...
