Only gets 2 stars for its central location. It could also get a first prize for having the worlds smallest shower cubicle, and the worlds thinnest walls. You get to hear everything in not only the rooms next door, but also across the corridor! Parking is a nightmare - the hotel is in a pedestrian zone. Bed are rock hard...

After 3 nights in San Sebastian , arrived in Bilbao staying 1 night before flying home. Had already booked the hotel and arrived around noon, but room was ready. Nice , clean and quiet. Friendly staff. A lively street with loads of bars and restaurants in the middle of the old town. Excellent location for exploring, on foot, the rest...

Fairly clean, small rooms. The hardest beds I've ever slept on, so a bit difficult. Lovely view from the window of the lane below. People partying on Friday night until quite late. Lovely restaurant a couple of addresses down, if you're looking for sit-down nice meal. (Gorbeia Jatatxea). Easy to walk anywhere - waterfront, museums, all around old town, up...

The hotel is conveniently located and clean. However, the flooring was installed incorrectly and constantly creaks, even in bare feet! The food was quite limited and packaged (processed cheese slices!!!)

Easy to book. Great location in old town. Check in is at noon. Perfect. Air conditioning only available part of the year, which is not now. The entire building is either all on heat or AC but not both. Not all staff speak English. Don't know if we can use kitchen area as lights off in the evening and no...

Great location in the old part of town. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. We had a front room but there was no noise late at night. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Very good and filling breakfast in the hotel. Staff friendly. Would stay there again

The location in the city can't be faulted but it is in a noisy location so ignore the hotel's blurb which claims it's peaceful. There is nothing basically wrong with this hotel, bearing in mind it is 2 star. It is quite basic, it has squeeky floors and poor sound insulation but we found it to be fit for purpose...

Hotel Bilbao Jardines is well located in the Old Town and is within easy walking distance of the train station. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and 2 chairs and a desk were provided. What I was very happy with was the blanket on our bed instead...

This is a nice little hotel in the heart of the old city. Rooms are fairly spacious, clean, functional and well thought out. Lighting, power points, AC and wifi are all good. The staff are helpful and friendly and speak English. The bathrooms arequell appointed, though some rooms have a shower over a bath. Because of the minimalist decor you...
