The room was really nice, with a great attention to details. The location is super central, I wouldn’t ask better than this! The only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is because the room was quite noisy ( but this is because of the central position).

I booked this hotel (6x triple rooms). A day or so later they called me to amend the booking as they had sold me room that they couldn’t provide. The compromise was not what I wanted, as the setup was worse but I accepted the change. I then received a new confirmation with a different cancellation policy. Due to the ongoing pandemic I have had to cancel. The policy states I can cancel 7 days in advance without penalty. The hotel is refusing to refund my money and are arguing the original policy still stands (non-refundable) even though that is against a booking they cannot deliver on. I have received confirmation that my amended booking is now cancelled, without penalty from the automated system. I now have a booking and payment against rooms they cannot provide and have cancelled without penalty the amended booking. Still no refund. Terrible service. On a holiday you want ease and convenience. This hotel facilitates neither. With so many great options on Bilbao, why risk having issues with this one?…

Worldwide pandemic, UK Foreign Office advises not to travel to Spain (which subsequently goes into lockdown anyway), and cancelled flights. Therefore, had to cancel hotel booking. This hotel’s cancellation policy advises that if you cancel with at least 2 days to go before check in, they will only charge you the reservation fee. WRONG. These guys charged us the full amount for all three nights despite us cancelling within the 2 day window. Do not book with this hotel, they act in bad faith. Dreadful experience at a time of worry and disruption.

This boutique hotel is great and as someone who often arrives late on Friday, they didn't have a time limitation for check-in. They kindly explained us how to get in and check us in the next day. The service was great, the location was perfect and the room was very cute. The only thing we missed was a corkscrew :)

In the Old Town, the hotel is in a great location to walk to lots of the city's attractions. The rooms are pretty, very clean and very comfortable. An extra pillow could be nice and an option to make coffee in the room but the complimentary toiletries, coffee and water were a nice touch. The location is in the middle of lots of bars and restaurants and it isn't quiet. Ear plugs are provided but you can also hear other residents etc so there is some noise. The price was quite high overall but the place is situated really well and the staff were very nice. I would definitely recommend a few days here.
