We stayed in a 4-bed room (2 bunks) for 1 night before heading up the mountain to the BBK Bilbao Festival. The staff on reception were friendly and allowed us to store our luggage in the storage room for a few hours before we could check-in. It is close to the centre and there a few local bars in the streets around. There is a chillout lounge area with a kitchen to use if required. The only snag was that the bunk-beds were facing the wall with only the room for a very skinny person to manage to get down on the ladders side, or you could cling to the wall like Spiderman if you had to. Overall: well positioned, friendly, free WiFi, cheap. Gracias!

My friends and I booked a 6 person dorm for 4 people and only 50€ total. It was quiet but near enough to walk to everything. The staff was friendly and the common areas were located far enough away from the rooms.

I am traveling with two friends so we stayed in a private room (two bunks). Very clean, shower in the room, there are cabinets with locks assigned for each bunk (in case you were sharing the room with strangers. There is a large canteen area on the ground floor - people were microwaving and eating their own food. There are bike racks inside the hostel by the entrance. Highly recommend!!!

We had two night booked, paid for and confirmed at this place. We had a late arrival, but had called in and were told it would be fine. Then when we got there a little after midnight, the check-in machine didn't work and the person on the phone was far from helpful. We had to look for a new place, tired and disappointed. What the what.

Little to recommend this place. The room had 3 bunks shoehorned in which meant that you had to squeeze along the side of one to get into the bathroom. The window hardly opened (it was blocked by a bunk) which made the room airless and too hot to sleep in. Dreadful.

We got an ok private room but the double bed was quite small. The wifi connection in our room was quite strong. You could also use the computer in the kitchen. Free coffee or tea and there is a living room in the cellar. Just be aware that the main entrance is locked until the reception opens at 4.30p.m. If you arrive earlier for check in, you may be lucky to see some personnel that could let you in to keep your backpacks in the storage room.

If you don't mind sharing a room with total strangers, and are happy to find your own way around, this is a cheap and gracious place to stay. Free WiFi, close to shops and public transport, and offers private rooms to those whose need that is. Bilbao is one of my favourite cities, so I admit to being biased.

The hostel is in a nice location, close at the center, have nice and clean rooms, and very friendly staff. They give you towels and sheets free. Also the room is very hot (for the winter). We had a discount 10€. wifi is available but the signal is weak. There is also a kitchen that you can cook and they offer free coffee.
