I moved to this hostel for 2 nights after the airbnb i was staying at was booked out. The 8 bed dorm was spacious but beds uncomfortable and the rooms and bathrooms weren't regularly cleaned. The shower in my room didn't work at all so had to use the bathroom up the hallway. Although there was a large common area...

Horrible. Booked a bed for several nights. Coming back one night I found out the staff had removed all my stuff from the room, including the valuables from my locker, putting it in a public space. And yes, I had a reservation for two more nights. It was a mistake, can happen, but unbelievably they never tried to contact me...

My stay was really great. Well, would like to have paid less, but there was a festival happening, so perhaps prices were bigger because of that. Nevertheless, I liked my stay. Staff is really friendly (they took my huge bike in) and the location, and breakfast, and facilities are all OK. I guess, it might be even the best hostel...

Considering its location, Ganbara is a good hostel to stay in as it's located just a few meters away from the Casco Viejo metro station and the surrounding old town with the Plaza Nueva. It is easy to find with its bright green logo and paint scheme. I stayed a few days in Bilbao and chose this hostel as it...

A hostel for the more experienced traveller....good kitchen with necessary equipment, wifi, TVs, quite room on landing, excellent bathroom and showers. Just a few or more meters off the camino. Clean rooms with lockers...lock and keys supplied. Breakfast, cook your own, or eat out round the corner with a choice similar to Starbucks. Beds comfortable, clean crisp sheets.....fellow travellers to...

This was the first hostel we went to. And that's exacly where we stayed for an intire week. The crew was very friendly, the rooms were clean, and the kitchen was AMAZING. Plus, and that's a big plus, they have a salon full of games. It gives the hostel a social vibe, which was perfect for us. Highly recommended

We had a very nice time in the Hostel. Good price, includes breakfast, and had nice rooms, showers, etc. Atmosphere was a little light, but I think that was because we were in the off season. The main attraction is the fantastic location.

I didn't mind my stay at Ganbara. It's in a great location! Close to the seven streets and a metro station. The hostel itself has no atmosphere, the staff were ok. My room was very close to the bathroom so I could hear the hand dryer. The rooms are tiny, you can hardly fit all 4 people in the room....

Cool and spacious hostel, decently clean, good location. Massive pros were their selection of games, pool table and €3 longboard hire. Really the only cons (if we're not picking) was slightly unfriendly staff (but helpful enough) and breakfast is fairly dodgy (but included so that's alright). Great that there's free tea and coffee and biscuits all day and night. Also...
