I needed a hotel close to the bus station, so this one fitted the part perfectly, the location is excellent for San Mames, metro links etc. No problem there! I don't mind a hotel where they do not speak English as it's an opportunity to practice my Spanish. Reception staff are not very friendly and one gave off a distinct...

Only stayed for 1 night as son and I travelled from Barcelona to watch the Bilbao v Barcelona match, we were actually surprised to even find a hotel room so close to San Mames. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful found a room it wasn't ready as it needed to be cleaned, not a problem just went to Mikels bar...

This hotel is in much need of updating and refurbishment. It was ridiculously overpriced for the standard of accommodation. Our room smelled of smoke and did not feel clean. The clean, white bed sheets were the only redeeming feature. Book in advance and book elsewhere if staying in Bilboa.

The staff looks forced to welcom you (sorry for coming... !). You are just allowed to pay, sleep, and maybe use the bathroom. You are under control whenever you leave and you enter. It seem to a jail, at least a good one ! Nobody speaks english. The facilities aren't well either. No parking, so add 17 euros per 12...

Tried to book 2 rooms which were available for a total of 150 euro but the miserable unhelpful receptionist would not let us see them. Not surprising that the place is empty. Not surprising we gave it a miss. With that sort of customer care the place deserves it's low rating

This was my last night in Spain in over two weeks of great hotels and what a disappointment. If I hadn't been late, wet and me tired I would have looked elsewhere. Cost was 54 euro. Look the people were nice, it was clean, the bed was OK and the shower worked well. However the room was so small, old...

If you need to be close to the main bus station, this hotel is very convenient but it is old and tired. Rooms are bleak and in need of updating. A poor experience that does not represent value for money.

I checked in and almost immediately checked out again after seeing the room. Very old - perhaps dating from the 80's. Location is convenient for the bus station but nothing else to recommend it. Only one poor girl trying run the front desk and the coffee shop at the same time and failing to manage even though I only saw...

Esadio is next to bus station when you come from airport or anywhere in Spain. It is clean, efficient, air conditioned, on a busy road, but 30 minutes wallk from town centre. No english spoken and very few places to eat nearby
