Great location. Amazing rooms, very quiet despite being in a lively area. coffee maker(pods) in room. Bathroom is separated by room by a window, so it is a good choice for couples not for friends, i think. Staff is great. Will stay again
Every element of this hotel was amazing. Great value, good staff, superb views of Bilbao and a spacious and comfortable room. Midday check out time was also very helpful and the city itself has so much to see.
Hotel is lovely apart from the double bedrooms - zero privacy with the shower & toilet in a glass box in the middle of the room! This made it an uncomfortable stay.. This layout makes the room really tight. Staff are friendly & approachable, the rest of the hotel looks good.
Stayed here the past weekend for 3 nights. The welcome was already amazing. The NYX Bilbao has a warm and hospitable feeling, and the staff are genuinely working to make sure everything is perfect, which it was. The front office manager - Amaia (hopefully I remembered it correctly) was so kind and personal. The passion and hospitality from the staff was inspiring. The rooms are clean, spacious and provide a lovely view of the Bilbao city Centre. We went for a drink every day in the hotel bar lobby, and the vibe there was calm and open. The bar staff has excellent knowledge about their cocktails and came with nice and creative recommendations. To add to this, very fair prices as well. Bilbao is a beautiful city, and the NYX in Bilbao fits that image so well. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to explore the city, because of the interior, facilities, staff, overall cleanliness and location, everything just makes sense. Thank you so much to the entire NYX Bilbao team for making this an unforgettable experience, I will for sure come back!! Also special thanks to Ms Herrera for checking up on us!! appreciate it :)…
Location was very good, and the view from my room was amazing (that was a plus). The room was clean, comfortable and nice. But I needed badly wi-fi to review and send some files, and it was really a nightmare to connect to the guests wi-fi. I asked at the reception desk if they had any other possibility (paying, of course) and they said that the connection was bad because of the weather (but the weather is always rainy in Bilbao!!!!). This is something they have to fix if they want to attract guests.
Excellent location. Standard double rooms cramped for a one week stay.. in the room one chair, a monster poof and half a table, plus small bed side tables.Without the large inside window sill there would be no room for your chargers etc. Reception manned by a Centurion! Listened to the WiFi problems but no improvement and he said he did not have the passwords to the two other email addresses in the hotel. WiFi complained about continuously. Signal disappeared sporadically and a test text email to myself took 15 minutes to come back. Bathroom with clear glass walls is a bit of a shock. The bedrooms are off an atrium with a dangerously low “barrier” between the corridor and a very large crop to the ground floor. I am sure this would be unacceptable to UK Health & Safety. In breakfast area no hot dishes, so breakfast cold by the time you return to your table. Bed comfortable!…
Considering its location and the top quality of its rooms, this hotel is undoubtedly the best lodging option in Bilbao. Bordering the Old Town, surrounded by tapas bars, shops and mini-marts, it benefits from all commodities. Hotel guests also enjoy a public parking promotion voucher they'll be more than happy to use when paying for your parking. One of the best values for an hotel we've experienced in a long time
We stayed on August 30th, The Reception: in the reception, we meet Maria which is not so welcoming and did not even tell us what are the services that are open or close due to pandemic. The Room: the Bathroom is very dirty with molds on the floor, the pillows are with stain and the bath towel has a dust and hair.. the room doesn't have iron. so we called to ask if they can provide. the rude lazy receptionist at 10pm on August 30th night told us we need to go down to the reception to take the iron. and he gave a dirty one and I need to use it on the bed as the room doesn't have an iron board as well. The coffee maker is full of dust and the some hangers on the wall was broken. I could say they give a terrible service for a 4 star hotel. NOT Recommended at all.
I contacted the hotel to ask if there facilities were open due to covid and were told they were. Know here on the website did it say that the beautiful bar in the reception, or the restaurant were completely closed of only opened when it rained. Lovely roof top bar but only open till 930pm Staff were great though and lovely modern hotel. Just a bit dissapointed by bar/restaurant being closed. Great location
Was on a road trip with my father and we decided to stay for two nights. First of all I do not recommend this hotel for family or even couple stays cuz of the glass wall bathrooms in the rooms which you could see through clearly how you do all your business (0 privacy) saying that it was uncomfortable is a understatement, the breakfast was a total disappointment too for 10€ per person per day you could have a much better breakfast at any bar in the nearby area. Ok now on the positive aspects super pet friendly which was a big plus and the staff is amazing all around the reception team is super helpful and friendly they recommended us the best places to visit and even help us on tips where to go next on the road trip 10/10 on the service
