Visited Bilbao and stayed at Vincci Hotel this November. We were a team of 6 colleagues travelling for work. The hotel was amazing. Everything at the right place and all the furniture brand new. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room spacious, clean and with a great view. Also, the location was perfect. We would definitely recommend Vincci Hotel and if possible, will return.

Clean rooms with comfortable beds, good shower, a very good breakfast and helpfull and friendly staff. Best location possible; opposite the river and the famous Guggenheim museum. Compliments to all that work there.

I booked this hotel at the last minute after realizing the hotel I had booked had horrible recent reviews on this site. I am so happy and relieved to say that Vincci Consulado de Bilbao absolutely lives up to its high ratings here, and I would absolutely stay there again when in Bilbao. Rooms are well-appointed and space efficient. Every staff person was super kind and friendly, and I thought my room was very quiet. My mild improvement opportunities: I hate closet clothes hangers that are permanently attached in the closet. I like to hang my clothes in the steamy bathroom on arrival to get rid of wrinkles. The bar area seems to want you to order on your phone, and we couldn’t for the life of us figure it out. Thankfully a server took mercy on us and took our order the old fashioned way. A few notes: This hotel is very convenient to the Guggenheim, and - in fact - offers terrific daytime and nighttime views of the museum and the adjacent bridge. I’d highly recommend booking a view room. Breakfast every day is a great spread on the first floor. Plenty to eat for every dietary need or preference. Bilbao is very walkable, and this hotel is easily within walking distance of most places. If you want to ride the metro system - - which is also terrific - - it’s about a 10 or 15 minute walk to the nearest station. Enjoy your trip! …

Lovely boutique hotel in a great location in Bilbao, next to Guggenheim Museum and within walking distance of both the old town and the newer shopping district. Room was very spacious and bed was very comfortable. Good walk-in shower, with good bathroom amenities.

Fabulous location, friendly staff, great reserved parking, comfortable bed. Good breakfast with a cook on duty for eggs etc. Overall the best hotel I’ve stayed in, in Bilbao. 700 metre walk to Corte Ingles and the main shopping area. Surrounded by fabulous restaurants and tapas bars. If you’re staying over the weekend, restaurant reservations are recommended.

Had a lovely time at this hotel was here for business and this hotel ticked all the boxes. The room that I had was great and quite. Enjoyed the range of breakfast each morning as well. All staff were excellent. Would visit again in back in the area.

I spent a three day weekend in Bilbao and the hotel made my stay. It is perfectly located on the river and a couple of hundred yards from the Guggenheim. Old town, other museums, down town, the university and the funicular are all easy walks. The location avoids the clutter and crowded locales of the other luxury properties that I had considered, a feeling of open space and splendid views. The property is very well managed, the staff friendly and helpful, the room well appointed and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was good with variety, an egg bar and multiple espresso machines.

Location, breakfast, beautiful view from the terrace, wonderful staff (Francis was the best). Comfortable rooms. Just about as good as it gets without being bougie. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good high quality hotel.

Absolutely wonderful, I had the BEST time of my life. Hotel staff were absolutely great and the hotel can't be in a better location. Near the old parte of Bilbao and the new business área. I was quiet impressed with Bilbao and really enjoyed It both in gastronomy, business wise and night life. Bilbao has great business exhibitions and all that turns out a great and a very unknown city.

The 4th Vincci hotel we have visited - excellent as always. Great breakfast, comfortable beds, fabulous shower, friendly helpful staff, and such a brilliant location overlooking the river and in sight of the Guggenheim. Just one word of warning - if you like a dark room for sleep - although the rooms have very effective (almost blackout) curtains, if the air conditioning is on the green light illuminates the whole room. Fortunately I always have duct tape in my travel bag - which can be used for taping over offending lights!
