It is absolutely impossible to sleep, so please if you are doing Saint James Way (el camino De Santiago) on foot, by bike or just only need to sleep try to arrange another accommodation. Staff is willing to help but there is no one in the reception after 23 sharp
The owner had promised a lower bed but upon arrival he had given it away without any kind of apology or compensation. Even took the highest price possible for a 10 bed dorm and when asked in reception if I could make the booking with a discount on a website that would not effect them I was refused. Also it was a noisy hostel which they let too drunk people disturb women and make noise and only after asking help not before did they do anything. I will never stay here again.
Great place and helpful staff. After accidentally booking the iron hostel in Romania, the staff helped us sort everything out and gave us comprehensive advise on what to visit in Bilbao. The hostel was clean, warm and the breakfast was good. Would stay again 😊
I spent 6 night in All Iron Hostel, it's very clean hostel with different size dormitories, shower and toilets are very clean with 3 separate bathrooms:ladies, gents and disabled, kitchen with all necessary items, you can use the fridge and all stuff for self cooking. Breakfast is included in the price and great Iñaki makes your stay unforgettable. The location is well located 10 min. walking from Santutxu metro station, and 20 min. ride on the bus 38 from the Termibus in San Mames and very beautiful view to mountains around Bilbao and the Basilica of Begoña is in 1 min. walking down from the hostel.
Lovely hostel where you always get a warm welcome from Iñaki and Susana. Clean rooms and modern facilities, spacious common area with nice chill out area. Safe location and 5 minutes away to nearest metro station. Definity does the job if you are on a budget! Eskerrik asko!
Hostel is quite cheap, you get a lot for low costs. Not the best location but good. You can’t lock the room, breakfast is included, but nothing special. Staff is very nice. You can wash your stuff for 5€, really cool. Showers are good and you have 2 common areas. One is more like a kitchen area and the other one is cool, but has no wifi. (in the second chilling area)
The attention is very good, you can access the hostel 24hs, the reception is open until 11pm. They have breakfeast but doesn't have much, it should be fruits and options for people that don't wanna eat cereal or bread with jam... The price is worthwhile just because the views from the rooms and the location, very near the old casco. The lockers are very big, it would be good to have a plug, a light and probably more privacy in each bed (I was in a room for 10 girls)...
Friendly staff, large common space and bathrooms. Clean. Great view on Bilbao. Only it is not exactly in the centre, but it is not far either (though up the stairs). I would definately stay here again!
This is a converted commercial office building with one floor turned into a hostal. The dormitory rooms and public spaces have a modern and spartan "cargo" design feel. The public lounge areas are spacious and homely, with a mix of add sofas and chairs. There´s a communal kitchen area near reception with all you need for basic breakfast. The dormitories have metal tube framed bunk-beds, and lockers are fitted with charging sockets inside - and padlocks are available for a small deposit. Towels are available too for a small charge. The communal shower rooms and toilets lack proper space for changing and drying yourself, so you will need to undress and leave your clothes and shoes by the sinks before you step into shower cubicle. All the staff are particularly friendly and welcoming. The location is a bit out of town, but there is a short cut by steps down to the landmark Begoña church, and city buses pass the door. You can also walk 10 minutes downhill to the nearest metro station Casco Viejo (a vertical lift that connects to the lower level city centre metro network).…
The hostel was very nice and clean. It is a bit of a walk from the metro station but no disaster. The kitchen is well equipped with oven and cooking plate. The hostel has lockers with electric plug inside. The bedroom had a lot of natural light. We left the window open overnight and it got a bit noisy in the morning. The mattress was comfortable. The only downside that I can think of is that the breakfast had only sweet food. But slice of cheese or something similar can be purchased at the metro station.
