Very good hotel in Bilbao with super helpful staff giving us all the advices needed to visit Bilbao. Room was ready when we arrived (around 12). Everything was clean, room was not too big, but enough for two people. Room had a television, hair dryer and a nice shower. Felt a bit dated but very OK nevertheless. Breakfast was plentiful with tortilla, queso fresco, fruit salad, yogurt, lots of bread and pastries, ham, jamón serrano, cheese, expresso machine and juice. We could store our luggage after check out without any problem. I would definitely stay there again.
Could have been in a better location but workable to the Guggenheim and the old quarter. Service was excellent; breakfast was fairly good. There is a clean little laundromat just down the block — a great find mid-way through our Camino walk!
The rooms are very very basic but clean and comfortable and for the price absolutely fine . Location is great for exploring Bilboa you can walk everywhere from the hotel and loads of things to do near . Breakfast is lovely great selection well Worth including it staff very nice Bar prices a little high compared to other bars in Bilboa . Would definitely recommend this hotel
In Bilbao for a couple of days Hotel was well located near museum and restaurants must mention Plata only 100metres away great food and friendly staff great little place Hotel was comfortable and functional definitely recommend
Very central with friendly helpful staff. Good hang out area, bar and breakfast available. Parking available. Asked for a late check out and was only charged €15. When the staff realised I was an Accor gold card holder, they proactively refunded me my money.
We were trying to get back to the UK during the Coronavirus outbreak in Spain and the Mercure hotel in San Sebastian cancelled our booking with no notice. This was the fourth hotel (including the Parador at Siguenza) that had done this on our journey from southern Spain. This despite the fact that many hotels were still operating. We were stuck with two days before our ferry booking and thought we would have to sleep in the car. Fortunately after a bit of ringing around, we found that the Ibis Centro in Bilbao was still open and managed to get a room there. Obviously because of the restrictions on movement, we knew that we would be confined to our room but as long as we had somewhere to sleep we were happy. The bar and restaurant at the hotel were closed and we thought we would be surviving on emergency rations but we hadn’t counted on the wonderful, wonderful staff at the Ibis. Nothing was to much trouble for them. We were fed and watered with some really quite impressive room service meals and their positive attitude in the face of adversity helped keep us cheery. From what I could tell, the hotel is in a good position downtown in Bilbao and we took advantage of their underground car park for a modest daily fee (I think it might have been around 7 Euros a day). After this crisis has passed we hope to return to what looks to be a very interesting city and will definitely stay at the Ibis to see how it functions under normal circumstances. I can’t praise the staff and the whole experience highly enough.…
Even though the staff are under pressure with coronavirus they went above and beyond. The first room stunk of smoke but was relocated straight away. The rooms are basic very very clean.Front desk very helpfull. I will hopefully return once things are sorted .
We stayed 3 days in the hotel. Local - Excellent, very central and close to many of the cultural highlights and Food & Beverages places. Room - Our room, #303, was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. Staff -Very friendly, efficient, helpful. Food - We had a diner and a lunch at the hotel restaurant, that were good and served rapidly. Breakfast was excellent. Price - Very affordable. Parking space - Very convenient to park below the hotel. Conclusions - We highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed here 5 nights and was very happy with the hotel. The location is great, short distance to subway, bus terminal, airport bus, shopping, restaurants, old town, supermarkets etc. All staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and spacious. The room we got was located to the "courtyard" and not towards the street so it was very very quiet. We did not eat anything at the hotel but they had a good deal/offer on breakfast which looked very nice. Also, the bed was in my opionion and liking, great! Very comfortable and spacious. Good value for money as well!
Good 3 night stay. Room was clean, quiet, and bed was very comfortable. Good location and nice staff. Breakfast could use more variety however. I would stay there again. xxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxx 200 character minimum is annoying.
