Nice menu del dia... three course meal plus sweets. Pity it was only a choice between wine and water. Very central and not that expensive for real food. Lots of space in the restaurant and start serving early.

Situated on the quiet plaza major at one end of the promenade, the Asturias stands tranquil and lost in time. But whilst the decor may be old world the rooms are perfectly suited to the modern traveller with all the amenities you would expect. Breakfast is a spanish buffet so dont expect a full Irish ! If travelling by car you get a discount in the main underground carpark on the seafront.

Gorgeous, quaint hotel that is famous for a melancholy Spanish film that was filmed in room 206. Quiet place but there were some strange noises at night from the old fashioned plumbing (possibly?!). Great location. The cider bar next door is wonderful too. We also had a wonderful lunch in El Antiguo close by. If you have a car a wonderful seaside day trip village is Cudillero.

Very comfortable hotel in the heart of the town, clean rooms with lovely furniture. We had a small old style balcony overlooking the city. The staff is very friendly. There is no parking on the side, however the city parking is not to far and hotel will give you discount for 24h parking.

Our beautiful room had a balcony facing the popular beach, from the square of town, a block away but still could hear the waves brake at the beach. The decor of the hotel and our room was exquisite and of very good taste. The personnel was very friendly and gave us great service. Breakfast was amazing. Will go back to Gixon and will stay at the same hotel.
