I recommend the hotel everybody visiting Saragossa. Good place to visit El Pilar and the many bars and restaurants. Also the important museums are in the surrounding. I always will come back, visiting this town.

We only spent a night here on our way from Barcelona to Madrid and it was wonderful. The hotel is very centrally located, but it faces a very calm square and we were able to get an excellent night's sleep despite the fact that we were on the first floor. If you arrive by car, parking can be arranged in...

Excellent hotel and great location. Very comfortable beds. We did not eat the breakfast as we slept in. Helpful staff. Easy to get to from the train station and very easy to walk around the older city. We were able to leave our bags while we walked around the city before our late afternoon train. Very quiet.

We have recently spent two nights at Catalonia El Pilar en route back to Santander and the ferry. We had two rooms, one double and one twin -as requested - and which were conveniently next to each other. The rooms had everything you would expect and need, including a minibar with space to chill your own bottle. The rooms were...

The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the monuments and within walking distance to the bars and restaurants, yet not too close to hear them at night. Nice old building with modern facilities inside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Catalonia El Pilar. Our room was pristinely clean, comfortable and quiet. We had a nice view of square in front of the hotel. The staff were professional, courteous and helpful. The breakfast offerings are delicious and are most certainly worth the price. I thought the location was perfect--close to all the major sites, yet...

We were pretty disappointed in this hotel. No parking, no gym, no pool. We got stuck in the parking garage on the way out the next day. Super annoying since the hotel made a big deal about the special rate at the garage. At 15 euros a night it wasn't that good a deal on top of it. Our AC...

Located just three blocks from the Plaza del Pilar and ahead of the Plaza del Justicia, it's hard to think about a better place to stay at Zaragoza. The hotel has a mix of classical and modern decoration, with spacious room and bathroom, wi-fi, A/C, fridge and safe box. Breakfast with options of breads, cakes, fruits, eggs, hams, cheeses, yogurts...

The Superior Room upgrade was well worth the investment. The quick and professional service harkened back to the age when the customer was king! The hotel itself was an historic attraction in its own right-do not miss walking down and seeing the 19th century elevator which is repurposed as a phone booth!

A great Catalonia hotel in an excellent location in the old part of town. Very friendly staff and easy parking in a nearby public garage. Even though we closed both doors in our room we could hear the cleaners slamming other doors and walking noisily in the corridors which destroys the morning sleep. The room was nicely laid out but...
