This little “village” is a completely wonderful place to stay while exploring a beautiful region of Spain. The rooms are designed with care, and great attention to detail and comfort. My spacious room “Pilar” had a panoramic view, a jacuzzi tub, two outdoor spaces, and a kitchenette. I highly recommend having dinner at the restaurant. After a day of exploring, it was a great pleasure to see what delicious offerings Josep would provide, to sip a lovely local wine, and then amble back to my room for a soak in the tub. Josep and Jota are wonderful hosts, as are Alen and Jose when they are in residence. There’s lots to see and do in the area: hike, kayak, explore castles and churches, or just amble along the footpath to Santa E. de G. to buy provisions from Conchita at the tienda.

The food and service turned out to be fabulous just as we heard. We got lucky and were the only table there (probably because it was a weekday), and Chef Josep Cabello personally greeted and served us his amazing dishes. Not only was the menu of the day plentiful, it was also refined. We must have had three dishes for starters before our chosen main course was served. The chicken and fish main courses that we had were all very fresh, and the strawberry "soup" sorbet dessert was light and refreshing.
