To find the entrance to the hotel, go to the website what3words.com and click “using your three word address”. The three words to enter are wisely.healings.rafted These will take you to the front door. Easy. The place itself has been refurbished to Spanish rustic. Very nice and the rooms are lovely. Mine had a balcony and a beautiful view across the valleys. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom decorated in good taste with a nice, powerful hot shower. We were a motorbike party of 4 members and we were there to ride the fantastic roads in the area. Anna and Fleming made us feel very welcome - they are a lovely couple and Fleming isn’t a bad cook either! I recommend the rustic artisan beer. We would wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and we will return! Thanks to you both for a warm stay.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel and found its ambience and tranquil position exactly what we had hoped for. The owners are very attentive, very helpful and made our stay as relaxing as the surroundings. Our en-suite room was clean, fresh and comfortable. We appreciated the thoughtful breakfast and evening meal menu's which were cooked and presented perfectly. We ate on the veranda admiring the vista and watching the wild boars in the fields below. We enjoy hiking and found the trails relatively easy going if not somewhat difficult to stay on track - though it is almost impossible to get lost. Would we return to this hotel - most definitely. Sat Nav managed the 400 km from San Sebastian but had difficulty with the last few to get here. Two local lads suggested we follow their car around the bends and twists up into the hills, and lead us the final few kilometres to the hotel which is perched high above the road. When I looked out from our room this morning the sun was shining on the trees across the valley, and for 50 miles I could see plains and hills beyond, and mountains beyond that. And it was silent, not a sound.. The main part of the building is about 500 years old, and tastefully made into very attractive hotel The owners are very pleasant and the dinner on the terrace was excellent
