El Rey Moro is located in a perfect spot in the Barrio de Santa Cruz. It is a charming hotel with the right mixture of old and new. The staff was helpful; the breakfast was very good. The inner courtyard added to the charm. Our room was beautifully decorated and we appreciated the couch for some extra room. We thoroughly...

This is a hard one to pin down. Charming boutique hotel in the old Santa Cruz quarter. Excellent and friendly service, breakfast included, but not the greatest selection - but free and good enough to start your day (so much good food nearby, it hardly matters. The coffee served at breakfast is terrible; you have to go to their restaurant...

After our 15-day trek through Spain, this was our FAVOURITE hotel and favourite city. The Hotel is quaint and in a perfect location, although a bit difficult to find. Our GPS took us to a square by the alley that leads to the hotel. A friendly cabbie pointed me to the right alley. Checkin was friendly and the hotel itself...

Really traditional hotel in quaint alleyway in old Santa Cruz part of Seville, quite difficult to find, but very pleasantly decorated room with comfortable bed and ensuite. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss and could be improved, although reasonably good selection. Cooked food was rather in short supply so if you want eggs you have to ask. Lots of...

We spent two nights in this gem of a hotel, thoroughly enjoying the style, the beauty and the friendliness of the staff. You were even greeted by staff when you saw them off duty, in the alleys of Seville. The room, 28, was on the top floor. You had to walk outside through a private patio to our room. It...

We just returned from three weeks in Spain and Portugal. Sevilla was one of our favorite places, and the Santa Cruz neighborhood was fantastic. All the main points of interest (cathedral, alcazar, gardens) are within easy walking distance, along with shopping and restaurants. Being in the Santa Cruz neighborhood is the key asset of the El Rey Moro - you...

We booked a double superior room (#19) at Hotel El Rey Moro based on superlative Trip Advisor reviews. Given the photos on the hotel's website, we expected a colorful, lively decor with lots of charm. While that comes close to describing our room, too much space was occupied by an unneeded sofa and a desk that did not contribute to...

This was my first visit to Seville. The hotel was simply outstanding - what a beautiful courtyard. All of the rooms face onto a central courtyard which has a fountain, and birds. Located in the old part of town the hotel is a gem. The room was most comfortable and the staff very good. We dined at their restaurant and can advise the food is good. Pay parking was a 5 minute walk away and I would certainly stay here again.

Situated in a delightful area of Seville, in the picturesque and authentic Barrio de Santa Cruz, the hotel is an attractive, converted manor house dating back to the 16th century. The Barrio de Santa Cruz is a charming area of the city with narrow, cobbled streets dotted with orange tree-lines plazas and centrally located within walking distance of many of the major attractions, such as the cathedral and the Alcazar. The hotel has a pleasing traditional patio-courtyard, onto which many of the rooms look out and where you can sit out and enjoy the peaceful ambience.
