I would like to commend Hostal Jentoft on their ethics at this difficult time. We had a pre-payment reservation for early May 2020. Unfortunately, Covid19 Lockdown Extensión was announced, which meant we were unable to travel. I requested a cash refund, as there is too much uncertainty around travel at the moment, to accept a credit voucher - and the money was back in my account within a day of them emailing to say they would refund .. just 3 days after cancelling. Brilliant service. I will definitely be re-booking with them, as soon as we can start making plans for 2021.
The first thing that struck me was his clean the entrance was and how lovely it smelled! The reception staff are very helpful and speak good English for those who don’t speak Spanish. The room was small but very clean. The bed was very comfortable indeed. The bathroom was clean but could do with a bit of updating. There were plenty of clean towels which were changed daily. The breakfast was simple but plentiful and tasty. They even provided me with gluten free bread. We had requested a gluten free breakfast and when we checked in the chap on reception remembered as did the two ladies in the breakfast room. Excellent customer service. All in all a very good place to stay, incredible value for money (don’t expect 5⭐️ luxury at this price!) and very close to the bus station and city centre. We will definitely be back!…
We stayed here for one week. I can recommend for short stays but one week was a bit too long, the room gets really wet, humid and all your clothes starts to smell like that. The rooms are tiny but it has everything you need and they kept it very clean every day. Parking was available, however, it is quite expensive even for the guests. The location is convenient.
We stayed in the apartment which was large and clean. The bed was slightly firm but comfortable. We opted to have the breakfast which was standard but plentiful. Located near restaurants and not too far from the Cathedral. The Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
BE AWARE The hotel is fine . , price fine 135 for 3 nights in 3 bedded room . Good for price B U T As I booked directly on hotel web site in 2018 On arrival I was overcharged some 36 euros ( had to be 135 but they took 171? for baby cot while its was free as per our email correspondence with hotel. Fine they refund me these money back Then in April 2019 I found that I was charged 135 by Aelxandra Mejia , who is an owner apparently. When I contacted hotel first they did not reply then when I advised them that I will involve police they occasionally answered my emails , motivating that they need some transaction details . I send them all possible invoices and details I had. I still not finished with this one as I my bank will be still investigating. So be AWARE .
