First it is loud, drain in shower didn't work, flooded into bathroom, nor did the air conditioning, blew hot actually. Had to open door and window to get any resemblance of fresh air. Staff barely spoke English so when you complain about an inappropriate action of a staff member , they look at you blindly. Hard to find but close... More

Our feelings towards Hotel Convento La Gloria are mixed: To start with the best, you couldn´t get a better location if you want to explore the old town. Everything is within easy walking distans. And the building in itself - an old convent converted to hotel - is quite charming. The first room we got was a disaster and very... More

We are a couple and we stayed in room 201 for three nights. Hotel location:- Perfect. Very short walking distance to absolutely everything. Felt like I was in right in the center of town. Everything easily accessible. Hotel located on a tiny side street which connects to a larger street filled with restaurants. Hotel decor:- Quirky. Like a museum. Old... More

Great location just yards from the cathedral yet on one of the quieter streets. Our balcony looked over the street and although there are restaurants all around it was pretty peaceful with just the right level of burr so you feel as though you are in the heart of somewhere spectacular. The cathedral bells on Sunday morning were beautiful. There... More

The convent is beautiful. Really restful amongst the hustle and bustle of this vibrant city. The decor is amazing. The convent took a little bit of finding as is hidden away down an alley. Close to the cathedral and good bars and restaurants. We were there during the flamenco festival and the hotel has flamenco performances on Wednesdays and Fridays.... More

My husband and I decided on a little sneaky break at the end of September as we thought the weather would be cooler and we were wrong 35 degrees and glorious as was the hotel. It's quirky and a little intimidating at first as it has an air of grown up Ness about it but it was beautiful and for... More

We stayed for three nights at this hotel recently. It has a great central location, one minute walk from the west end of the cathedral, positioned on a narrow street thronged with bars and restaurants. The hotel has its own cafe restaurant bar where the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially Tania !! The hotel has its own restaurant... More

This converted convent is fabulously located just 5 mins walk from the cathedral and alcazar. Being in the old town it is, like pretty well everywhere, surrounded by bars, restaurants and people, so expect music, talking and so in into the night around you. The junior suite, at €190 per night was a treat, balcony overlooking the street, massive bedroom,... More
