We spent 3 nights here and were so pleased with the accommodation and location. We were in room 25 which was at the back of the hotel, so nice and quiet. The lift was not working when we arrived but Rafael carried our bags to the second floor. It was fixed before we left. This property backs up nearly to...

Spent 3 nights hear and there's huge building works going directly opposite. The noise from 8am every morning has to be heard to be believed and it is not something that looked like it would be finished for several months. Its a very centrally located hotel and so its also very noisy outside during the night. The rooms are quite...

Hello, First of all, thank you for leaving a review on tripadvisor. with regards to your review we must say that we have just 4 rooms that face to the building works. Building works stops the whole weekend. We take your review as a weakness but in our efforts to improve and to give a better service every day we...

We had a really lovely experience in Sevilla and we really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Puerta de Sevilla. David and all the staff were always so accommodating and generous with their knowledge. The hotel was in an excellent location and we'd be very happy to stay there again Highly recommended

The hotel is pleasant enough and understatedly Andalusian, but it was cold, both literally and metaphorically. Staff seemed disenchanted; when I remarked that the wi-fi did not work, I received a shoulder shrug. The room we occupied (no. 26) was a single masquerading as a double. Above all, a building is being noisily renovated (from 8 a.m.) across the alley;...

Recently redone. Still pretty quaint, but very modernized. Clean, comfortable, very helpful staff. Steps from many good restaurants, and just a few minutes walk from the major tourist attractions. Excellent restaurant behind the hotel. San Telmo. Just ask. Would stay here again.

Can't beat the location-in the center of activity on a busy street with lots of bars and eateries. Walked everywhere. Nice size room with a good closet, room for luggage and a nice size bathroom. The shower was pretty slippery so hold on and the bed was like sleeping on a box spring are the main issues plus it was...

Quaint and charming, very comfortable and staff was helpful and friendly. Close to the Alcazar and its environs, as well as San Bernardo train station. My top story room had an amazing view. Highly recommend!

Firstly, to the title of this review. In Spain, the tourist board awards stars to hotels based on objective criteria regarding what facilities the hotel has. As Puerta de Sevilla has neither pool nor restaurant (although it is linked with two restaurants next door), it gets marked down. As it is a boutique hotel so doesn't have 100+ rooms, it...

Only stayed a night but this hotel is clean, well appointed, and central with friendly and helpful staff who speak excellent English. We would certainly have stayed longer if time had allowed. The car park, for which you pay an extra 18 Euros, is a bit of a squeeze though! Thank goodness for parking censors.
